Idlewood Theme Park

My latest project is Idlewood Themepark. It is a Cedar Fair park and it is time I showed it. Anyway I've been working on this park for the past week. It has gone thru lots of progress and it has fun stuff that you guys will hopefully enjoy. It has a realistic touch to it since thats what I like to do most of time.

P.S. Unamed SF park will be discontinued since it got deleted.

Note: X Wings isn't fully so don't complain if it looks bare. The only thing finished is supports, a few bushes, and the station+queeve.

Sorry about the Six Flags park, that was looking good.

This is totally inspiring. I am going to try my hand at a realistic park sometime soon, after seeing all of these good ones that you and other people have been working on!

nice. i think the spine on x wings should extend all the way to the top of the lift, though. it looks very nice though, sorry about the six flags park.

also, it's queue, not queeve.

Looks pretty decent from what i see. Rattle Snake looks prety nice...

Screen one: Put grass underneath the raised land with the palm tree and underneath the plants

Screen two and the rest: Too much grey I think.

I say this to everybody who starts a 'realistic' park: Realistic doesn't mean grey. Vary your colours. In a real life park you also wouldn't only see grey everywhere.


For the rest it looks pretty nice.. Try fixing those ride entrances and exits sticking out of the scenery

Update 2-Part 1

This is part 1 of update 2. (Another update will come later in the day) In this update I included Bigfoot(Can anyone guess what kind of ride it is? There is a similar one in PGA and the name of the ride is related to a famous reality show)

Frisbee coaster!

That's the best frisbee coaster recreation I've ever seen.
The dueling coasters looks nice aswell.

LOL there not exactly dueling but I guess the seem like that. There isn't one dueling ride in the park but you just gave me an idea to do one on the next season release(I decided this one was going to be chain.)

It was only a matter of time before someone thought of that...

I don't like the two coasters to close to eachother.

Oddly enough, I just saw one of those Disc-O Survivor:The Ride type things in a park I was looking at this morning. Also, I was just watching a show about big foot. Anyway, looks like a good ride. I'm not sure about those two coasters in the second screen. They make me think of Wind Jammer. I guess it's just the bright colors though. Anyway, you seem to always have good names for your rides, which is always a plus, so keep it up.

looks good but the helix on thunder streak is very out of place.

and you should rethink that name.

Your new style of architecture is very interesting. I especially like the entrance area.

And yeah, you should change the name. It sounds too much like Idlewild.

Thunder Streak looks slightly inspired by Goliath to me...or at least the helix does. Good stuff though.

And I agree about the name, although I thought about the band Idlewild, not the park...
