Just a question to see what you guys may want.
I'm working creating some new trees/shrubs and was wondering if you would prefer to have the full tile objects as large or small object types. I'm just thinking of providing some more options for foliage.
I'm not promising anything great, just some reworked existing objects and a few new ones. And I certainly don't expect that they would be used in everyone's parks, just a couple here and there. -

Well i think some more 1/4 trees would be nice, however i also think we need some more 'shrunken' trees to bridge the gab between shrubs and trees. -

Well, right now, I've got them set up mostly as small objects. It wouldn't be hard to change them to large objects. And I do have some 1/4 tile trees too, but not many. I'll see what I can do to shrink some of them so that they would be 1/4 tile and still look right. -

Personally, I'd like to see some huge trees (helpful in realistic parks). I understand that's not what your doing right now, but just something to consider. -

If you have the choice to choose between small and large scenery, use large scenery because there aren't many large scenery items and it would be easier to put in the workbench. -

What do you mean by huge trees zburns? Are you talking about multiple tile in size or taller overall?
@ postit -- that's kind of what I figured. Won't be much of a problem to change them to large objects for the full tile objects.Edited by NForce, 27 May 2006 - 09:00 AM.

Large Scenery will make some problems though. Not only that it is hard to delete, but the large objects don't look good on sloped land.
It's your choice what you are doing. Either large and small have their advantages and disadvantages. You will have to see what is most important for you and best for the object you are working on. -

Some will look OK as large objects I believe, and some won't. I've got to figure out which will or won't. Maybe I'll just make both large and small and put them in separate .zip files. -

OK, those are multiple tile in size. I've got a couple that I could do that way, but it will take me a little bit longer to work on those. I'm searching the internet for some possibilities too. Just trying to get a fairly rounded selection of different tree types.
