Custom Scenery Exchange / Water Tiles

Ok, well I was building a creek bed in my park. Since creek beds, if they have water in them at all, usually don't have much water, I was using the water tiles to fill in the water. Unfortunately, I don't have any diagonal water tiles. I need them to finish my creek bed, and I can't think of any creative way to make do without them. Does anybody know where I can get these? Or can anybody make them for me? Thanx in advance. :D

P.S. - The water tiles should fill up one triangular half of a whole tile. I hope you can understand my description! :(

can you cover up half of the water tile with landblocks?
  • Paradox%s's Photo
Tried it. Very hard to do and it doesn't work out too well. :(

Just zero clearence the diagonal land over the water tiles.
  • Paradox%s's Photo
I tried that too. The whole tile still shows through the land.

Why use water tiles at all? Wouldn't it work with real water, and a corner of the land lowered?

Ignore this if I don't quite understand what you're doing.

Real water would look (and be) too deep. There is supposed to be hardly any water in the creek bed, so I need water tiles for the water. I will then break up the water to make it look like the water is almost completely dried up. The only problem is that I need diagonal tiles. I need them because I could make them look like they only go up to your ankles at deepest. Thats why I can't use real tiles. I figured I should try to explain that to anyone who could make them for me. I have finally found an alternative way to this, though, so now they would just be a luxury. :)

    quartertile or full tile ?
  • Paradox%s's Photo
Either work, as long as they are triangular. :)

Oh well, guys. It doesn't matter anymore. I have already posted screens to advertise for the part I needed the new tiles for. I found a way around it. Thanks for dealing with the problem anyway! :)

Too bad it works fine this way in LL ...

All I wanted to say is that we don't need now objects for everything.

Is that actually running water in that screen? And why is that water called bottled water?
  • nmdeviant%s's Photo
all my water objects are animated they are different from cougars i couldnt match his animation.....bottled water was just a name I was using for the tab has i developed the tiles, they at one time were called taller falls..because it includes waterfalls as tall as 8 high
now it's called 'agua' and besides the creek tiles it includes... inside and outside corner waterfalls, diagonal falls in 2h..4h..6h...8h sizes as well as bubbling water tiles
