Loads of people are probably going to be doing this because of those awesome new supports, but im going to re-create the forbidden valley section from Alton Towers, including both Nemesis and Air. Im hoping to get the coasters as real as possible, ive been trying to recreate them both for months then started again to get them right. The final version should have the real music used in the stations, if i can import the files from 'towerstimes.com'.
small mix of shots after 2hours. ive just re-installed rct to get rid of all the crap collected in my scenario editor.
I hope loads of people start recreating these rides, theres so many different versions to be made within the limits of rct2. -

It would be awesome to finally see a good recreation of nemesis, or air for that matter. Seems like you know what you are doing, i might try a recreation of nemmy soon if i can find the time, after all its an awesome coaster.

Looking good,
in your screen is that the first in-line twist on nemmy? as it shouldn't be parallel to the loop if you know what i mean. :' />
the loops set further back with the twist been over the station i think. if your waiting in the queue next to the loop you can bearly see it.
dont forget the ribena water! heheEdited by petrov, 05 May 2006 - 04:03 PM.

I once made the most perfect Nemesis recreation with LL and then I lost it when my computer went fercucked. Since I tried to recreate it again and failed everytime. Jeez it was tragic. -

Too incomplete to make any real comments. The colors are correct and the landscape seems to be taking shape. -

I made a pretty good one in RCT3, as did voodoo.
I'll be very impressed if you can get Nemesis to be close to perfect, as it's utterly impossible, due to the diagonal inline twist. Would be nice to see Air, as well. I'll look forward to this. -

Can;t really tell from here, but definately looking forward to seeing more complete, large screens to give an justified comments -

Thanks for showing interest in this guys.
I will be posting bigger more complete screens after this small update, as a request from phatage to see some of the support work. just remember because the rides are small, im not going to show screens that cover the whole thing.
Basically this shows the loop and 'X-brace' style supports are complete on Nemesis. I just have to raise the land behind when the trench is complete.
I have done a lot more work, its blowing my mind how compact and crammed all the scenery is getting all the supports in the right place. -

Hm, not sure about it.
A little puzzled why you have that diagonal brace linking the 2 loop supports. They aren't evident in Nemesis, or any other Inverts as far as I know. Instead of the diagonal brace, i think you need one support that connects to the entry and exit of the loop parallel to the supports you already have with their own footers etc.
I would change the footers to brown with grey tops where they connect to the supports. I think the coaster colours are off. I'd definately make the rails grey and the supports black with yellowish/greenish flanges to represent the "rust" effect. Finally I know you have't finish the landscaping yet, but try and make the footers look built into the side of the trench rather than rest on top of the land. Have an overhang piece underneath if you get what i mean. -

Come on now, how many cars per train does nemesis have?
I also think you should experiment with different colours as I know that the exact ones aren't offered in game but I think you can get closer to it from what you have now. Also, I don't know where you got those "x brace" supports but I do know that it wasn't from real life:

There is not diagnal cross brace, the water under nemesis is blood-red and most importantly the loop must be further down cutting further into the ground so it looks like a cavern, rather than a ditch. The landscaping around the loop is steep, almost vertical rock, and the supports are embedded into the sheer-rock faces on each side of the loop and nemmy only has 8 cars!!!
The only way you can create the landscaping around nemesis is by using quarter-tile land blocks only, thats the only way you could get the depth of the cavern. Also... THE SUPPORTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK!
lol sorry about all this, i just wanna soo badly see an inch perfect nemesis recreation, and the intial screens were good, looking at all this really makes me want to have a go at this myself, looks like fun. Anyway, good luck with it.

The water is also red.
the chain link fenceing is more grey (even though it is rusted). There is a fence with ivy on it which you could change to brown to look like rust.
