(Archive) Advertising District / The Battlefield

I'm experimenting with a new concept: a battlefield in space. This is just a piece of a platform. This part has a force field surrounding an energy pod.

Creative. Tell me more.

will this have a coaster, or is it just theming?

great idea. I would ove to see a space battle executed well and hope you can do it. But right now it kinda looks like a hanger type building with the open inside and the sides look like docking sections

Well I plan to make this much larger. This was more to get the structure right before I started working on the layout. I plan on making the layout of this battlefield based on the shape of a tesseract (also known as a hypercube). This is the shape for those of you who don't know what it looks like.

I'm still deciding on which one to use. The first one will be flat or mostly flat but the second one will have parts that will be blocked by other sections of the structure. They both allow for different ideas that I have in mind but right now I'm looking more at the 3-dimensional layout.

To answer someone else's quetion I don't know yet if I'll have coasters in this. Probably as scenery, but probably not as rides. I'm still not sure yet.

Nevermind this park. I've dropped the idea for an even better one with my club. The new one if it gets off the ground will be in space.
