    It's because you can pretty much do anything with them such as make realistic supports for inversions. Also, they look more realistic with flanges on the slanted pieces and the round footers.

    I like how they place better with the track and all but they seem a lil thin dont ya think? I dont remember seeing a B&M with that thin of supports.
