junior prom was fucking retarded, hopefully this will be better. going to be expensive, i should of been smart and not of gotten a date!

junior prom is pointless. why waste the money of renting a tux when you could do it for senior year? lame.
in other words, i don't have a date.

Girlfriend is a senior, so I'll be attending her prom. I'm a junior, so I won't be going to mine this year. Quite pointless, and generally not too fun anyway. It's just the same as every other dance event (ie, grinding, crap music, and lots of people I don't get along with) but with more formal wear. Which just costs more. Lame.

Eh, prom at my school seems to be more formal all around. Not as much grinding. :\

i had a good time at prom last year. my date had to wear her sister's dress, but looked amazing in it, so whatever. her dad's an accountant and stingy like that.

this year i think will be more fun, i think. more talking and the same amount of dancing probably. we're eating at one of those japanese places that makes your food at the table. the day after it i'm going with my date and the drama club to st louis to see a musical at the fox. should be a good weekend.

i don't really care about the music too much. ok, the country slow songs get on my nerves, but dancing and being around friends makes up for it. (side note, if they don't play Touch the Sky, my date and i will feel cheated, or something like that)

Thank god we don't have country songs at ours. We always get a really indie dj.

it's all terribly mainstream, like now-series, with a few old rap songs and a classic rock tune mixed in.

Personally, I had more fun at after-prom than prom, really. I dunno if it's because I won my mini iPod there or had an awesome time bowling, winning at "gambling", or chillaxin with friends, but after-prom was definately better than prom.

Skipped my junior prom in favor of bowling. Going this year to senior prom with my girlfriend (who's a sophomore). Don't plan on dancing much. More looking forward to the school-sponsored afterprom which is pretty cool. Don't know what I'm wearing or what kind of car I'm going in or what. I'll worry about that some other time. I'm looking forward to the Radiohead shows (!!!) a few days prior a hell of a lot more than I am to the prom, but whatever.

And yes, mine was school sponsored. I mean, we were giving away iPod's, laptops, hundreds of $ for luggage, and an Alienware computer. Oh, and a PSP. Besides, everyone knows that you don't lose your virginity at the prom, but at the after parties where you have your keg and shots awaiting for you.

Yeah we have an end of year prom this year, which will be the first one i've ever been to- which don't help cos im actually helping organising it... urgh. Anyway i've going with this fiiiine girl called Chloe- should be a great night, as far as proms go...
