1st screen- the docked boat is a nice touch. The sheer size of the wooden coaster works very well in this screenshot

2nd-the beach atmosphere is evident, and it's cool how the coatser swoops close to the monorail

3rd+4th-these two exhibits are neat. it feels 'zoo-y'

5th- This really looks like a jungle. the grass roof and walls make the scene

6th-the bamboo is good for pandas, I know that. and you've got stone ground in there for their habitat-i believe they live in the mountains.

I'm not sure an enormous wooden coaster could be in a zoo...the animals would be frightened! But I guess if BGT does it, then you can too.

They were at first, but now they totally ignore the coaster and have no problems with it at all. Same as with (wild) animals in RL. They often live very near to railroad tracks or even the airport without being bothered by them.

The car ride track will be made invisible. The mine coaster is one of our kiddie coasters. We are now at a total of 18 coasters in the park.

This coaster of course is not for the very young ones!

    Enjoy!

Dont get me wrong, I really like it. But everything just seems a bit too crowded. Maybe its just me.

I didn't like some of the earlier screens of this park.
But I really like these. I love the "crowded" look.
It has such a nice atmoshphere.

    pretty nifty.

I like the coasters. I know this has probably been asked somewhere before, but i'm not digging through the thread. Will this park be peep friendly?

    Looks nice...
I like the crowded looks, it creates kind of an cosy atmosphere. You've done a good job with the architecture...the buildings aren't overdetailed/overdone, but they aren't too simple either. I also like the colors you selected, although there's too much brown in some parts. The coaster layout looks interesting, but isn't the loop way to close that wooden(?) structure you built through it? I mean, it looks like if the train will crash when it passes by that segment.
Anyway, it's good to see this park still going, and hope to see more soon. Keep us updated please.

And why are there tables on that wooden structure? No one can access this place....

^Climb up on the roof then use those wooden bars going across to climb up like a ladder... Duh...
  • ][ntamin22%s's Photo
that last one looks indiana jones-ish.
i'm still not the biggest fan of the style you have here, but it's very nice to see it continue to be built and the story continue to unfold. 18 is a rather large number.

hmm... the only thing I can really say I don't like (besides the crowded-ness and how there are tables with chairs in an unreachable spot) is the random white water in that lake. You pulled the jungle-y (?) theme off very well, though.

I would like to call it more dense than crowded.

I think it's kind of nice to have such a family friendly park. That steel coaster in the last screen looks pretty nifty.

That would be so kick ass to eat up there. That'll be sikk

You could high-five people when the train goes by on the loop ;) ...
  • Rohn Starr%s's Photo
From what I see regarding the tables on top of the building, there IS a way to get up there. If you look in the top corner of the rooftop, there's a 'structure' that could be used by the peeps to get up there. Most likely stairs.

    Yes, it's peep friendly.

Rohn, I think they're talking about a different spot. The screen with the loop, the tables right there.

Regardless of whether those seats are accessible or not, would you want to sit that close to a coaster, especially if you were trying to eat.

^Yes, this park definitely is as peep friendly as a park this size can be. We ran the park occasionally during different building stages to make sure it would be. The park rating stays at 999. Only when there are well over 3000 guests it drops slightly due to too many "I want to go home"peeps (It is a big park so it takes a lot of time to get to the exit) and "It is too crowded here" peeps. The latter you see only at the exits of the bigger, high capacity coasters. But even with 4000+ guests the park rating stays well over 900! Where 8 cars is used it is always used so that the peeps keep on having access to the rides (unless a ride is used entirely for decoration/theming purposes). There are enough stalls/restrooms and plenty of staff.

All pics shown here are from the oldest area of the park. Most are from the oldest settlement in the park. At that stage they built at random and with the materials they could get at that time. So they cut down a piece of jungle and built what they needed with what they had without much planning. That's the atmosphere we are trying to get here. The buildings around the mountain lake are a little more "sophisticated" since they are meant to be built in a later period when they got more serious about having a permanent settlement.

And why are there tables on that wooden structure? No one can access this place....

Yes, they can! With a modest agility (is that the right english word?) one can easily climb this tower. The area shown is what we call the "scouting" area and indeed rather "Indiana Jones-ish". It is meant as an outpost to watch over scouting activities, as support for the coaster, and for fun! Wouldn't it be nice to have that close a look at the faces of those going through the loop?! LOL

The coaster layout looks interesting, but isn't the loop way to close that wooden(?) structure you built through it?

You are right, it is close. We would have preferred to use the wooden half 1/4 tile pieces for it but since they are not in the park's object list we used the full 1/4 tile ones. A compromise I grant you, but it does look ok when the coaster goes through it.
Here are some more close-ups of the area:

the Reverser is winding its way through this area also.

Of course wooden supports for a steel coaster aren't very "realistic", but we thought it definitely looked good here and in style with the rest of the area, so.....Just because it never has been done doesn't mean it couldn't.

HQ of the area: the Baden Powell house (says it all, doesn't it?)

18 is a rather large number.

Cedar Point is holding the world record with 18 coasters in one park. We will have at least one, maybe two more coasters!

hmm... the only thing I can really say I don't like (besides the crowded-ness and how there are tables with chairs in an unreachable spot) is the random white water in that lake. You pulled the jungle-y (?) theme off very well, though.

The white water in the screen is the outstream of the well(or whatever you call it) that feeds the waterfalls. Here an overview of the entire area to show it:

Thanks for all your comments! Since we still need to fine-tune this area we will take them with us when we do!

Only one small area(except for the fine-tuning) left to build in the park! Here you have it:

There will be one, maybe two compact coasters here. Probably impulse or so........

Actually, Lloyd is right. Not only would it be annoying, but the risk of getting hit is moderetly high. Infact, I really doubt a real theme park would put benches there.
