pretty nice... and I agree with lucas92 on the path fence thing
  • Todd Lee%s's Photo

Hmm, I would put a fence next to the path to avoid peeps lost.

Which path? I can't seem to find where you are talking about..
  • Genius638%s's Photo
^the path along the stairs, I think.

I thought this area had more of a boardwalk-style to it. I hope that's what you were going for. Very nice use of canvas....but I think the palm trees may be a little thick, but I would have to see the whole area to judge that.

It is along a board walk. The fence that came with the path on the stairs should keep the peeps from wandering. One day we'll probably show a few larger screens, so people can get a feel of the different areas.

How far is this from completion now?

I go back to the screens from 31 October. The first screen is good; the only thing you can change is the arch in the white building. I should make the arch out of one arch and not a double arch. ;)

At the second screen I like the little buildings on the screen. But I don’t like the grain and the white flowers next the grain.

    Screen 3:
Nice screen too, but maybe you can use more colours and less windows. There are too much windows in the building from the boats and the building down on the screenshot.
I don’t know what I think about the graveyard monuments on the roof. :<img src=:' />

    Next update.
The same story as screen 3, too much windows and it is a little bit plane with colours and walls that you use.

And the last update is a verry nice one. :)
    good luck.

hey there, having been gone for a while im glad to see this park is still in the making. the earlier screens of the merry-go-round and car ride are beautiful.

Thanks for your comments everyone! We really appreciate and look into them!
Now that H2H is over for the Bandits, I have time to work on the park again and so I am. Expect some fresh screenshots soon!
snas, just you wait until you see an overview of the area. You might feel different then. The people in the village (second screen) grow crops for the Island, so that's why you see it there. The building with the many windows is the prison in the palace complex. Prisoners didn't realy get big cels in those days.

trav, I think we are about 75 - 80 % done by now. It is a big map (150x150) so there's still a lot to do, but we do hope for a release in a month or two!

I'm hard at work and making good progress! Right now I'm working in the asian area of the park called "Insulasia". No screenshots of that yet, has to be a bit more finished to take good looking screens!

But until then, here is another screenshot of the moebius mousie this time with some of its surroundings. As some one already guessed: the beach area (one of them anyway!)

No people in the water. As you can see there is a jellyfish warning (red sign on the coastguard watch tower, the other signs give the times of the tide).

Since you lately mostly had screens of the older parts of the island here some of the modern buildings in the city of Insomnular.

Excellent work there. You manage to take ideas that usually turn out tacky or poorly done (Such as the building with the coaster hill over it) and meke them look absolutely AWESOME. Keep up the great work. :)

WOW... Beautiful screens. I love the barge on the first pic. You did an excellent job with that. The pirate ship looks really outaplace on the third pic, next to modern buildings. Maybe there is a good reason for it to be there. Besides that... beautiful. :)

Thanks dr.dirt, eman and James! Both Todd and I really enjoy working on this park. I'm glad to hear it shows!

The pirate ship is out of place, but not out of place! LOL There are tours around the island on board the old 18th century pirate ships the first inhabitants used for their "work". They have been kept in good condition and now are a tourist attraction. On their tour they (also) dock near the Insomnia theater. In the pic with the pirate ship you see the back of the theater.

Man, those grey and brown things in that last screen are ugly. And poorly made (Sorry to whoever made them). :(

However, I really like your roofing style, and can't wait to see more! :)
