If you're intellect doesn't stretch to operating a manual, then who's to say you won't get distracted by all the shiny shiny buttons on your automatic's dashboard and plough into a class-ful of children?

I drive an Explorer, and the gearbox is so slow and dim- witted. It used to not shift into 2nd gear until you let off the gas pedal real quick. After it got 'fixed' it just shifts really slowly now. I should just have a five- speed from an older Explorer put in it, we don't need all that crap in the console anyway.
