I thought I'd make this thread because I'm gonna see Carlos Mencia this weekend here at UTA, which is being filmed for Comedy Central. He's not my favorite, but hey, how often do you get to go to a show that's being filmed, pay only $10, AND have front row seats? Anyway, my favorite comedian is Lewis Black. You gotta admit, no one has more anger/angst than he does. I do like others though. Dane Cook, not all of his stuff, but some; Greg Behrendt, Jeff Dunham, Bill Engvall, Greg Fitzsimmons, Jim Gaffigan, Lisa Lampanelli, Denis Leary, ect, ect.
Go ahead list yours. Maybe add a link for some of your media..? -

Dane Cook is probably the most overrated comedian, but he might be the funniest man on the Earth. -

I've never heard Williams onstage by himself. Is he a laugh-riot? He is one of my favorite actors, though. -

Kinda like Eddie Murphy: Family man on-screen, wild off-screen?
Oh, and I have to add these two as well:
PENN & TELLER!

i love leslie nielson in naked gun and airplane. he's kinda making a fool of himself now though (scary movie 3 for example) but the naked guns are still hilarious.
im also a huge fan of steven lynch. his superhero skit is amazing. -

Definitly Al Murray, 'the pub landlord', he fuckin cracks me up. Also Peter Kay is quite funny, but i think needs to do more shows.

Yeh Peter Kay is funny but needs to stop releasing old stuff and excercise videos and make new series of Pheonix Nights and Max and Paddy. -

Hans Teeuwen and Theo Maassen are legends. Everybody here in Holland knows of them. Sadly it's dutch so I can't place a link or something like that because you wouldn't understand. But those guys are genious. -

Go see him live. He's a world's difference. And besides, he's one of the few comedians that has a message: Get over it! Be equal to one another, not nice to them. How many comedians do you know are bold and follow through with their statements of strong significance? Trust me, Mencia is a different guy between TV and onstage appearances.Edited by Rhynos, 01 April 2006 - 03:40 PM.
