I haven't fixed the glitches on my computer, but since i can still use the bench, i have begun a park...
It is an abandoned industrial zone that is going to be converted to a theme park. I need help though deciding what colors should be used for the buildings (maybe neutral?) -

you are the one who does the park.
you are the one who builds.
you are the one who chooses colours.
there's a rule here that park advertisments have to be posted with at least one screen.
if there's no screen within the next 24hours, topic gets closed. -

There's nothing... the entrance gate doesn't look industrial at all and the premade building between the path doesn't help...
Why are you asking about the color? There's no colorable thing anywhere.
Build something before showing a screen.

If you want to make the image visible on the boards, you'll have to place its url (the link to were them image is) between tags:
I take in consideration that you never built in RCT2 before, but I still think yhis looks like nothing. If you have got the PT2 bench working then take a look at some amazing Pt2 parks! And get some inspiration from them (do not copy them!) -

i JUST started it... i am still changing it a lot... the only reason i showed this was to keep the post up so when i DO get something done i don't have to post a whole nother topic -

The idea is to actually develop something we can comment on.
Whats there to say about grey concrete??
Try building more before you set up an ad for it, otherwise you'll start to get a negative reaction to anything you post.
As for the entrance, unicorn/horse statues aren't really industrial.Edited by petrov, 26 March 2006 - 12:35 PM.

it used to be a nice, clean industrial park...
yeah, i got excited about the park idea i had and rushed to put an ad up...
sorry -

ok, i scrapped the park and restarted... i will have a screen soon, but i am only about 50% done with the entrance area... i hope you will like it! (for a first full project) -

lol
Only 50% in a day? What are you, jkays evil twin? Take your time, dont rush to advertise things. I would rather see 1 full, complete screenshot than about 10 with a path and lost of green grass -
Hydro Offline
50% is a rough estimate, and the entrance includes the parking lot, main entrance building, and outdoor 'patio' outside of the entrance building. Even though the entrance building is rather big, it wasn't hard to get the planning and basic layout done. I guess i estimated a little high, but i am fairly far for one day... -

You need to stop posting so much without actually saying anything. Why don't you do some work on the park and not post again until you have a screen to show. -
petrov Offline
WOW 50% that is quick, takes me ages to do a little and still im rubbish! lol
Can i ask how big is this park going to be? will it be a fully operational park i.e people can 'visit' it? -
Marshy Offline
50% huh, well it depends how big the entrance is, it could be just one structure.. ..or you might have a bit too much time on your hands.
Anyway, stop the talking, start the building, post some screens
