All of the pictures have some sort of touch-up with brightness and and contrast, but other than that it's all natural. -

Just went to Best Buy today, got a new digital camera. It's a Sony CyberShot with a 56MB memory built in, a 2.5" screen and 7.2 Megapixels. I got a 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo for extra memory cause 56MB sucks. I might upload some pics later if I have the chance...
Some (very) amateur pics:

Just a sneak preview. Borrowed a friends Nikon D70s for that one. -

Seeing the light in the church and the poor dynamic range of digital sensors, especially on Nikon Cams, I think HDRs are the best way to do this. Sure this one doesn't look any realistic, but that's what I wanted.
I would have liked to take that pic with the analog Nikon aswell, but getting that one would have been a 2 hours drive.
Anybody tried macro HDRs yet? -

I took this a couple years ago with my extra crappy digital camera while backpacking during the summer. Almost had rain and a thunderstorm, but it turned out all right.

Last Saturday I went out to take some pictures with my Nikon D50, which finally arrived. So here is a quick preview on what I got to see:
Sorry for the colours, which are terrible most likely, but laptops suck ...

A few photographs from last weekend. These were taken at the Cleveland Dam, one of the three major dams / watersheds for Greater Vancouver (drinking water).

Geez, you guys are all seriously skilled. Very, VERY nice. Nate's shots are superb, as usual (first photo is my fav). Magnus: fantastic closeups! I'm assuming there was a telephoto for the third, but what about the first two? SFfreak56, I love your foliage closeups, especially with the morning moisture still on. Just beautiful.
Took this photo a few weeks ago up at Mammoth Mountain (spring break). A butterfly landed on my friend's ear, and since he was in no position to take a photo, he handed me his Nikon D100, and I snapped a couple of shots as quickly as I could before the guy flew off.
I was extremely pleasantly surprised to see how well they came out, considering I rarely use an SLR. Anyway, here's the best picture:
(cool thing is that at full resolution, there's still perfect detail. ) -

Hey Al,
as far as I remember the first and third were taken with the Nikkor 55-200 Kit lens at 200mm and the middle one was taken with the other Kit-lens, the Nikkor 18-55.
Well those lenses could be better, but still one can get some pretty nice shots using those.
I still got to work on a lot of pics. Might show somthing form the local fair the next days and I still have to get a look at my pics from the zoo ... I just wish I had more time to work on those, but I promiss you will get a look at them.
That butterfly looks really good. Great light you have had there and Nikons always take great pics.

Loch Ness Monster's interlocking loops
Apollo's Chariot's first drop (Sadly, Apollo's Chariot wasn't open yesterday, but all the others were, except Griffon)
Big Bad Wolf's drop over the river.
Escape from Pompeii splashing. Wicked hard shot to get. -

I'm late on this one, but Magnus, what is going on in your picture? It's really cool looking but completely disorienting. -

Hey Jelly,
it is a ride from the Stuttgart Fair, called Commander. It shows one of it gondola spinning. Here you can have a better look at the ride.
When I took that one I was really proud of it. Looking back at it, I think I have learned a lot.
Will post pictures from my last photo tour once I have time to edit them.
