Amazing. Very nice details there (i.e. - the rope fences).
Oh yeah, forgot to suggest (unless it's been said):
Why not changing the colors of the cars to the opposite sides colors (mix up the car colors)? It would make it seem like they're actually playing.
...but that's my $0.02.Edited by XxBreakAwayxX, 09 April 2006 - 06:27 PM.

Fucking hell Simon. I hope you know this is utterly ridiculous.
Love the queue lines. -

Creative, very well pulled off. But I don´t really like the foliage, the low bushes in front don´t do anything for me. Looks very good, but something about the screen makes me loving it less then the previous screens. -

Dont care if it has been done before....
I love it i have spent awhile looking at this screen and each time i see something new. Very good attention to detail. Im just trying to work out how you got the dodgems to stay on each side like that.
Just very well pulled off.

it's two different dodgems, and he set it to 5 cars each.Dont care if it has been done before....

it's really nifty, and it looks like a blast to play. i think it would have been better if it were a bit bigger, but you make it look so amazing that it doesn't really matter. props man! i'm looking forward to the release. -

Ha, thats insane. Im guessing the dodgem cars aren't scenery pieces then right? I know a lotta that kinda stuff is in RCT2. One reason I stay away from it. But from the looks of it, this is amazing. Great idea and I really like the lines too. The stands are ok if you ask me.
But one question. How do they stay there? Are the cars supposed to be magnetic to something below em or what?
Great job though. -

Yeah, that's my main problem with the screen. The bumper cars aren't attatched to anything, meaning it wouldn't work.
But it's great stuff and a great idea. -

Thanks for the comments!
Kumba: I tried having a ref, but you cannot get the black/white striped bumper car colour scheme and the field would be too cramped imo.
JKay: Thanks man! The stairs are a little step yes, but imo they seem in scale.
Titan: Good point lol. I think I'll keep them as they are though, cos the white lines on the field glitch really easily if anything is placed over them, if it be the ball or the dodgem car... It took forever to get all the dodgem cars positioned correctly!
egg_head: hehe, you know its nothing compared to your solo.
Emergo: Thanks, i look forward to seeing your variation! Do you have AIM?
Steve: Cheers, yeah i know what you mean by cartoonish lol.
Fred: lol.
Coster: Unfortunatly the peeps wont be able to ride, the park has a lot of bits where it is not possible to access, so unfortunatly the park wont be peep-accessable at all.
thirteen: Yeah i think it is better in game, the colours seemed to go slightly weird when i converted it to PNG, and no the ball dont move lol. Cracking idea if it did though lol.
Blah188: Thanks.
Tom_DJ: Glad ya like it!
Trajan: Cheers, yeah the avatars great init lol.
Xenon: No sorry, the ball is still.
Xcoaster: Way to rain on my parade... My version is better anyway! *sticks tongue out*
HandyAndyG: Yeah I've always wanted to go to Europa Park too.
Corkscrewed: haha, yeah, you are inferior.
JDP: Cheers.
Geoff: Glad you like the screen.
Petrov: lmao, must have forgot them... hehe.
Breakaway: Yeah i tried mixing colours, but i wanted to make it clear that the red defend the left half, and the blues the right half. So its clear where guests have to queue and which cars to get into, just to be mega-organised really lol.
Turtle: Glad someone likes the queue lines! They probably took longest to make...
Akasha: The foilage is incomplete at the moment, will work on it later.
Leighx: Thanks, yeah its 2 dodgem buildings set to 5 cars. Easy as pie.
PBOB: I would have loved it to be bigger aswell, but it actually takes up quite a lot of space, i was thinking of having two-courts next to each other, ah well, its too late now lol. And i agree, i would love to play this game... *Gets on aeroplane to Europa Park*
RMM: Nah the dodgem cars are real cars. No cutting corners for me.
Postit: What do you mean? Theyve got a floor lol. If you mean the overhead electric-wire things, as i mentioned before they are powered bumper cars, so in a way they aint bumper cars, but go karts. But dressed as bumper cars... For some reason. Is that what you mean?
Mudblood: ?

Next update will probably be by Kumba, who has helped me out with a restaurant in the viking area. When he can be assed to do it.
Hopefully he will do a mini-review of the nearly finished first area. *hint hint*

X250.... if you can put in a car nemed Robben it 'd be like GREATEST RIDE EVER!
but he you can't name a car... so i give this screen a 9,5\10
this idea is super... and pulled of very well... i love the idea behind it... thoe colors are well pulled of... but the "sky box" can have some brush with a dark yellow color i guess... the green doesn't work for me.. -

I know they are powered but that kind of ruins the traditionalism of the ride. It's ok, though. It's a fantastic idea with amazing execution so I will tip my hat to that. -

Update
Me and X250 have been trying to work together for sometime, but things always seemed to get in the way and prevent it, until now when he was nice enough to let me have a guest spot in the Viking area of his incredible solo.
Jorvik Forest as it's called showcase' an amazing amount of great theming, ideas, details and of course rides. The highlight for me was Thor, the massive wooden roller coaster that dominates that area. The best thing about Thor is the countless realistic details worked in, mainly on it's station, I have never seen a ride with this many and they are all executed very well. Also drawing my attention were the flat rides, like Axe and Valhallen witch are both amazing custom flat rides that only were possible due to my hacking help The shops in this area are without a doubt the best I have ever seen, the individual detail is off the charts. The only weak part of the park imo was the parking area, but X knows about how I feel about that so I will not go on about it here. Really outstanding work Simon, this area is stunningly even better then the best ones from your PT2.
Enough talk, here is part of the restaurant I made for my guest spot:
I was able to work in a total of 3 longboats in that screen
Thank you for letting me help out with the park X

Good work Kumba, and X you know my thoughts - spotlight for sure!
Even better than my park -

its too Kumba for me
i dont like it that much, the building is just too high, out of proportion i think
and longboats... shouldnt they be in... ehm... water? -
JKay Offline
Its a neat screen, I just don't like how "littered" the paths feel, which is typically how I feel about a lot of your more recent work. Still, a fun screen in terms of trying to figure out all the nooks and crannies. -
trav Offline
Way too detailed. I don't like it, sorry. Not all work has to be detailed to fuck to look good.
