The monorail supports look a tiny bit thin, but that's a very nice screen. Good idea with the wheelchair access (but that now means you have to use it throughout the whole park).

    Thats wheelchair access. =)

    That's a great little touch X!

Although small, I really like the atmosphere in that screen..

No offence to Levis, but that sign looks like it doesn't fit there.. Maybe make a sign with those wooden Toon/Richie poles, if you know what I mean..

    Looking forward to more!

I love the atmosphere in the screen, it just seem peaceful. I hope a ride will be themed to Cadbury's chocolate? ;)

    Genius! :D

    Looks pretty nice X...
I love the colors, because they create such a pleasant and vivacious atmosphere...and I also like the Cadbury sign, well done Levis, I think it fits very well. I also think that the wheelchair access is an excellent detail. I have only one little complaint: the supports for the monorail...they look kinda weak, and too thin...if I were you, I'd reinforce them a little bit; I don't know, I'd put some base blocks at least.
Anyway, I'm very glad to see this park alive, and hope to see more of it soon. Keep going.

1x1 buildings with windows are dumb. Especially when they are 3 stories high. How the heck do you expect people to get up to them, there is no room for stairs in the RCT scale and what would be up there anyways?

The Cadbury sign looks a bit off place too...like it needs to be shrunk a bit to fit on the 2x1 placement you have for it.

^Considering it's just a little entrance building...why would people want to get in there?...I mean, maybe he just wanted to make something more complex that only worked as an entrance...not every building is for people to get in IMO.

Obviously not the public but it's kind of dumb to have a 1x1 building 3 stories high, unless it is an attic or something or for show, but the windows just make it look dumb and it is obvously not just an attic because the roofing is even higher than it.

And what is with the doors opening over the terrain?

^that's true. But keep in mind, geewhzz, that the building there is just for decoration... the windows don't even have to look in to anything. I mean, look at the main street of Disneyland. There are windows on the upper floors of those buildings, but park guests probably can't go up there. Decorative purposes only.

I think it all looks fantastic, X, keep it up.

    ^Agree with him...

I'd actually be surprised if they weren't accessible, knowing Disney

    lol yeah...

I feel like this post needs more substance...

    I can't see any images before page 9 :<img src=:' />

you need to open your mind a little bit, geewhzz.

Geewhzz, I couldn't find a better pic to back up RCfan and Ling without delving into my own collection, but the central and left towers are highly unlikely to actually house anything or be accesable to anyone, but they work as theming.

Each tower could be nothing but a set of stairs, going up to a viewing/seating area at the top. I think the stairs would fit. But I agree the doors at the bottom of each tower need to be on one of the 2 sides that face the path, not where they are now.
  • Ling%s's Photo
^yeah, the door thing is the only thing I think should be modified... Stick with the windows being scenery.

Thanks for the response so far. I was thinking of putting those floor-objects (the ones in that area of Shadowlands), to make it look like circuitry on the floor by the hole, although i have no idea how Xcoaster did it. :p *hint*

Opps, I'm about a month late with this. Do you mean how I had a grid pattern going on the path all over the section or what I did with those tiny line objects I made? The grid pattern might take some explaining so that it doesn't glitch too much, but the other stuff just requires those objects I made and a lot of patience.

Anyways, the park is still looking awesome. The color scheme on the gate in the most recent screen is very nice, as are the monorail supports, the wheelchair ramp, and that jazz on top of the building. And the dive machine teaser is good too. My only complaint might be that the land next to the the stairs in the new screen looks a little odd as dirt, but it's not bad.

I'm looking forward to the release.

Very nice work, I really like it, but I will nit pick a bit and say I don't like the green and orange flag with the black pole, stands out to much for a small detail.

    Keep it up :mantis:

This is one of those SS’s that I really need to see more of in order to see how it fits in.

    A couple of questions/comments I have.

    1. Why the object steps?
    2. As other have stated, the monorail supports (although original) look very weak (as in not strong enough to support it). I do like that you are trying to think of custom supports, but these just don’t look good
    3. I’m not sure I like the potted flowers on the awning. What were you trying to accomplish with that?

I do like the colors of the towers though. Perhaps use that same color combination with the awnings. Keep up the good work.
