Yay, it's back! Nice work with the billboard. Bat looks like a great coaster and the station for it looks good aswell.
The only thing I don't like is the benches and garbage cans. Try using the default ones. Are they from Zoo Tycoon? Anyways, looking forward to more.

    Keep it up!

Doesn't the train sit funny on the Schwarzkopf track?

    It looks great, though, zburns999.

You made WW scenery look good! I like the new screens, especially the first one. Its a great looking station and would be very realistic from the peeps perspective. Just hide that exit a bit though lol.

^ Yeah, if you can't see the coaster's ACTUAL station at all, change it to the grey castle entrance, and put an arch over the exit that fits in. Other than that, great work.

Change the coasters station to giga track and change the cars to roller coaster trains and just merge on those types of loops.
  • JDP%s's Photo
^i think he did that so it could be a reliable ride for peeps. I do that some times. I either reduce the launch speed or just put it on boat hire mode. If he puts the roller coasters cars on the giga track, the coaster will break down every 30seconds. But the way he is doing it now makes it more reliable.

Very nice... definitely a promising park. What's the overall progress?
  • geewhzz%s's Photo
I don't have any problems with rides breaking down too often.

The first screen is very well done. The castle on the second screen needs those castle fences (Turret fences i think?), IMO because it really doesn't seem to medival-castle to me. The last screen is gorgeous(sp?).

    Thanks everyone for the comments...

@RCTCA: Thanks. The bench/garbage can thing is actually a long story. Somehow, with the way i set my bench up, that whole tab was missing, so I ended up having to go in to the landscaping tab to add the garbage cans and the "?" tab to add the benches. I don't even know if the peeps will recognize them as benches and garbage cans.

@geewhzz: The cars actually look decent on that track. The closest RCT2 example of this coaster would probably be the one Phatage built in SFWoE. It's pretty much the same idea. The reason I have the station track the regular "roller coaster" track is exactly as JDP said. The ride will break down every time it comes into the station otherwise. For an example of that (sort of) look at Bourbon Street Blast in BG:S. Thanks for the compliments though.

    @JDP: Thanks man.

@X250: I'll deffiitely take that as a good compliment. WW scenery can be a bitch to work with. In this case though, it just seemed to be the best fit. I'll work on covering up my entrances/exits. I just need to find an arch that fits. I'm sure I'll think of something.

@Gwazi: Thanks. I see what you're saying. I'll see if it would be unnoticable to change the station type, and yeah, I'll work on finding a good arch.

@Jazz: Thanks man. Park progress is probably nearing the 70%-75% range.

@dr dirt: Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the castle pieces you speak of. It was a surprise to scroll through all of the tabs and realize that I forgot anything remotey related to castles except for the two types of brick walls.

@JKay: Thanks. I'll deffinitely try my best to finish up. I'd predict a release around April-May if I continue on the same pace.

    Thanks again for the comments.

the Bat station is nice....but I think you could have made it a little more tudor-esque. You've got a unique style that I like...keep up the good work!

    Looks good...
I really like the BAT station, it looks very traditional and I like the colors, textures, and different deco objects you put on it; the station fits with the colors of the coaster aswell . I also think that you made a good job with the foliage, I like the fact that there are different shades of greens, which creates a vivacious atmosphere and it doesn't give like a repetitive feel to the area. The King's Court looks ok, but if I were you, I'd put (where you used rooves) a base roof, which would be a base block, and then I'd put a roof on it. Also, I'd put some more details, maybe some different textures and deco objects. The third screen is good, I like the color scheme, you made a good choice...just one suggestion: add some flowers, yellow flowers which would be the best IMO.
Anyway, I'm glad that your still working on this park, and I'm looking forward to seeing more. Keep going.

Perhaps make the top pieces of that arch over King's Court roof pieces rather than just plain blocks? Might make it look more realistic. Other than that you are kicking arse with this project! :D

Well, these were supposed to be for Fiesta, but I never got a chance to post them. Oh well, better late than never.

Here's a screen of Skeleton Peak Pass, an area themed after a rocky mountain village out west. The area is home to one of the two stations for the train, Ol' 49er, The Giant Wheel, and the Intamin River Rapids, Class 6! at Skeleton Peak (shown below). It's a peacful little area with some nice shops and restaurants.

And here's what I've been spending most of my time on lately...Class 6! at Skeleton Peak. There used to be group rafting tours up on Skeleton Peak, but after the storm, nothing's left but sunken buildings, unearthed dinosaur skeletons, and an array of rapids so intense that they have been said to be classified as class 6! [/end cheesy background story]. Seriously though, it's a pretty huge rapids ride taking up a large portion of the back of the map. I'm still working on the lift hills, but it's coming along nicely.

That's all for now. Please feel free to comment and critisize as always.

The station for "Bat" is stunning. This park is showing great improvment since the early updates. Keep it going

Though I don't get what the Virginia Reel and Mini Golf catwalk are for, the rest is great. :)

With every update you impress me more and more...I'd just fix those tables if I were you.
