(Archive) Advertising District / First Park

Well this is my first park. So don't expect to much of it. Now I have one coaster in my park and a few buildings. The coaster is finished but there are a few little things that will change soon. - The river wil be changed a bit at the sides
- There are coming some hills.

Next to my coaster there will come a Rapid River, also in jungle style.

Just so you know, your tree selection NEEDS to be changed. Palm trees and every other tree there usually go in the desert. If you still want them there, you should blend them in with more suitable 'jungle' trees.

Other than that, your buildings are simple, but nice. The coaster may need some work, especially with those first two curves on the ground - the coaster trains would go too fast and would have too many horizontal G-forces associated with them. Nice first park, tho. Go at it.

You use a BGT coasters name too!

kijk nog wat rond deze site om wat inspiratie op te doen, je achtbaan vloeit niet echt goed en het land voelt niet 'natuurlijk' aan.

Here's my suggestion. While you are building this park, you should be downloading and looking at spotlights, designs and runner-ups. Take ideas you like from these and incorporate them into your work, but be careful not to just copy. But the most important thing is that you see this park through to completion. It will be a great learning experience and improve your next park dramatically. Your building looks very simple and there is definitely tons of room for improvement, but I hope you stick with it.

The fisrst screen is okay, but too blocky. Cute Ticketbooth though .
The second screen, I like none of it.

i dont think the issue is the tree selections and ground texture. its moreso the fact that the landscaping is flat with boxes river flow through it. try some variation. dont be afraid to experiment.

Well, I will sure look around here to have some inspiration for my park. I know my river is not good but that will change. I don't know what to do with the trees. I like it the way it is... I don't know or the jungle-trees will do the coaster good... But I will try it and you will see the different I think

And about the coaster. It is a weird thing but you might sure he don't goes to fast trough the curves.

New part of my park is done. The rapid river named Crockodile Dundee is done. There come a few bushes as soon as possible. Post your comment please...

It hardly looks done.

Firstly I would suggest using more different types of land together, like mud together with rocks. You do it a little now but the rock is over done. Then secondly you can add trees and vegetation on the mud ground, like trees, plants and bushes. Now it looks too empty and sort of boring. The landscaping also needs some work imo, make it a bit more smooth.
The ride also lacks architecture...I dunno if that's because it's unfinished but if it's not, make atleast a station or cover parts of the station. Just some tips.

Takes a lot of time to build something really good, but don't give up trying.

You really should finish screens before posting. It would be a lot easier to comment if there were trees, bushes, a station, paths, etc. As it is, it looks dull and lifeless.
