Ask the Experts / Custom Scenario

Hello,

I was toying around with the scenario editor, trying to make the most ideal park to begin a new project. After an hour of picking out custom scenery (most of which I have acquired from either your parks or other downloads), I realized it takes a significantly long amount of time to build your own scenario, not to mention the fact that you are obligated to ensure that you get all the right scenery you will need in the park-building process.

Thus, my question I pose to most of you, is if you already have a template you use for most of your parks (flat land, and all the best custom scenery), could you post it up, or send it to me? I know you most likely take great pride after spending all the time to build the custom scenario, so I will gladly pay anyone (via paypal) for their custom template. It's just not worth going through the hassle to spend 3 hours building one for my own.

That's not really possible...

The perfect template for one park is not going to be the same for others. All I can really suggest is a starting point - the Pro Tour 2 bench. You'd need to resize it and change the scenery to your needs.

If you get into a park and find you need something, just use DImport.

And if you want to create your own, just create the landscape you want to base your parks from. Like ACE said, there's no one truly perfect scenario. They all vary depending on what you want to create in the park.

You can just use a 50 x 50 flat map and include the scenery/rides that you consider essential for every park. Save it as a landscape, not a scenario. You can set the scenario objectives if you want, but it's not necessary. From this landscape, you can create all your parks.
