I love all of them but some of the missions can be repetitive. It will be good on the PS3 though. I thought the PS3 was being released at christmas? If so, the game won't be released in october 06 which it says on the site.

All GTA games are shit except the original PC version....just an opinion though

The thing that confuses me is what new features will it have? I mean, San Andreas was good enough.

True, and that's a complaint that isn't uncommon in the gaming world. A lot people complain because of endless sequals and franchise games and people want fresh games. Problem however is that that stuff hardly sells. I mean I played Psychonauts (a game that still isn't out in Europe and for ages in the US) and it was IMO a fun and somewhat fresh game. Unfortunately it only sold 80.000 cpies which isn't very much.
The point is that if a game was a commercial success there usually will be sequals because it will sell and publishers are so branded on the money that game developers sometimes don't get the time to deliver a good/worthy product.

To be honest I disliked GTA3 (and 2 also). 1,VC and SA were the ones I liked though. I don't really mind that there will be a GTA 4 though, but I'm also craving for something more original and fun, although there are several games I wouldn't mind getting a worthy sequal and not just a commercial milkcow project.

How can it get old when its a game that encompasses so many ideas and genres into one huge game? I, for one, am strongly anticipating it.

I personally think they should end the GTA series...from a retro gamer's perspective. They could keep going on and on making these games, but soon they won't be known as great games just "Oh look another GTA game"...type of thing. They should stop soon, and be known as developers who have developed one of the best series of all time.
