Progress has slowed a bit, since the new semester has started. I have a lot more done than I did, but I am holding off for a while on advertising.
A good friend of mine who used to edit screenshots with me in RCT1 over @ Danimation is currently working on custom objects to make up a large scenary based HUSS Giant Frisbee to represent maXair.
I'm sure you will all love the way it's going to turn out and want the objects for your parks
He will also be completing Sky Hawk S&S Screamin' Swing custom objects.
Stay tuned....Edited by geewhzz, 02 February 2006 - 03:13 AM.

After a long break from showing off my park I have made very significant progress.
This next shot is one of my favorites in terms of gracefullness, as I feel I've pulled the area off perfectly, and this shot is a perfect angle of the MCBR of Raptor in front of the Gameday Grille.
Enjoy;
Oh, and by the way, here is another progress update shot of map 1 of 2.
Comments welcome. -

Very nice. This last screen is high quality work, recreation or not. And it looks like you've already gotten a lot done. Maybe you will finish the park by your deadline.
Also, I was thinking of just mentioning this in general, but making this recreation should help a ton with any normal realistic style parks you make. It helps you get a *much* better feel for how a real park would appear in RCT. I highly recommend any RCT parkmaker to try and take on a recreation if they want to improve their realistic RCT techniques. -

I may have missed something but... how is this going to be a two-mapper? Don't you have enough space? -

loving the new screens however the steps from that building in the background, shouldn't it all be grey and not gery/white? -

Now that you've shown the entire map, it's clear that you could've made raptor larger, more life-size, and I think that the way you made really detracts from the feel of the entrance to CP. There's no problems regarding the realsim of the architecture, but I'm worried that you're going to make MF go something like 80 mph to save room even though you have enough. When building recreations, you have to find a size balance somewhere, and I just don't think you did it here with one of the best inverts ever build:

They are Grey/Grey it's just this block is really weird....trust me.
Phatage: Everything else will be realistic, MF will be the right height and everything, it's just Inverts have no large pullouts so I chose to scale it down, and I think it works perfectly the way I did it.
Chiller: I did change the flanged support colors, don't worry, it does look a lot better, this is just an older screenshot.Edited by geewhzz, 04 February 2006 - 02:13 PM.

Heavy progress has been made down the midway in terms of buildings. Coming to the near end of map one with the buildings done recently.
Here is a new shot for you to drool over;
I have custom spire tops for the arcade on the "to do" list with a ton of other custom objects for the park, these are just "temporary"
Enjoy -

Sorry if I'm not drooling over it .
But I do like it! I can't check with accuracy since I've never been there . If this wasn't a recreation I would say, the square is.. just a square, add something to it. And put something on the rooves, like a chimney or omething. But it is a recreation so there's not really something you can do about that. -

Latest Update:
Progress is coming along as I only have a few more areas to finish up on Map #1
Here is a teaser shot of Disaster Transport, not all of the minor details are done, but you get the idea:
And the progress thus far:
With how busy I've been with work and school only have about 2 days during the week to get some real work done....expect some great shots soon.Edited by geewhzz, 17 February 2006 - 03:57 PM.

Looks pretty accurate so far. Not extremely exciting to me, but I understand its a recreation. I am, however, very excited to see how you do with MF and Power Tower (my two favorite rides at CP). -

I don't know about the accuracy, but maybe you can put a little change in all the white. What's DT by the way ? -

I am not done with all the minor details, I might add something to spice up the plain white sheet metal.
Disaster Transport is a bobsled rollercoaster (Flying Turns) at Cedar Point. It is an enclosed themed dark ride. I hacked the waterslide onto the flying turns coaster at the points I needed tubes for the ride to come out of the building.
Here are some shots of it so you can get a better idea of where I'm coming from, http://www.pointpics...ertransport.htm
