I was supposed to be seeing Inception right now, but I'm seeing it tomorrow instead. My last movie was Grown Ups and I thought it was a good movie. It has my exact type of humor so I found it to be continually hilarious. -

^ This is unbelievably true. Inception was quite possibly the greatest movie I've ever seen. -

I wouldnt say it was the best, but it certainly is up there.
Definately my Changeling of 2010.
The ending was lovage, I was left thinking, so is that reality or dream? -

The A-Team. *Wah woh wah woh wah woh* 9.9/10 because I never give 10, and I especially liked the scene where...nevermind. -

Sandlot - I had forgotten how much fun this movie was. Did anyone know who Dennis Leary was yet? -

Finding Nemo
somehow slipped through the cracks of my Pixar fanboyism but it was, as usual, a fun movie from them. I think I can safely say that it is my least favorite movie Pixar has done but by no means a disappointment. -

the fight club - only saw fragments of this last night, it was pretty damn awesome. -

I saw Inception again last night. Its honestly one of the greatest new movies in the past few years. I give it a 9/10. I hope it gets Nolan the big award nods (and wins) that he was robbed from with The Dark Knight and Momento -

I just saw the new Karate Kid. Boy... that's one heck of a remake. Take the original movie and add everything you missed in it - it was nearly perfect imo. The emotional moments were spot-on, the acting was superb (the little smith is gonna be BIG, jackie was just adorable), the choreo... wowsa. I'm pretty darn impressed. -

Recent movies for me have been:
Full Metal Jacket - Certainly deserving of it's reputation. Great movie, not really my cup of tea (or coffee, since that's my thing) but still very well done. Almost feels like two distinct films.
Toy Story 3 - I was completely blown away. I really didn't think another sequel was wise, necessary, or likely to turn out well, but leave it to Pixar to prove me completely wrong. I was moved to the edge of tears both laughing and the other way. I think it's probably the best of the series, and possibly the best Pixar movie in general (close race with the Incredibles in my book, which is INSANE because I love that one). Probably a top 10 favorite movie for me, and definitely my favorite of the summer so far.
Inception - IMAX, appeared to be the annoying conversion though. The screen wasn't as big as some of the others I've been too and the seats weren't properly steep or comfortable. But none the less, location aside, it was a great movie. Not quite as good as some are making it out to be, and not really flawless (I didn't like how they used that same shot of the kids over and over and over and over; I've had reoccurring dreams, but that got annoying). I liked that it leaves you hanging. I hope desperately that there's never a shot that resolves the ending... it's exactly the ending the rest of the movie deserved (a damn good one that leaves it up to you).

Ride6, it sounds like an "IMAX" MX conversion, not true IMAX theatre (this is the same as Cinemark's XD). It's just a large auditorium with a big screen. Also, all modern IMAX movies are shown with digital projection, rather than the 70mm film. You're basically paying extra to watch a movie in a theatre's largest screen (unless it's one of the few true IMAX buildings left)... Hence why we don't charge extra for our 60ft screen. -

All About Steve
This movie is a mixed bag. Did I leave it feeling happy? Sure. But really, when I think about it, nothing really happened and the characters went nowhere. Sandra Bullock did a great job portraying the character you just couldn't stand, and so I couldn't stand her, and the character of Steve was made to look like a dick when he did what anyone would have done. What the fuck, Hollywood. Oh, and surprise. Everyone ended up getting everything they wanted and was happy even though nothing happened.
...But, it was entertaining enough to watch.
