    Sy for the doublepost =/

I just saw Streetdance 3D with my girlfriend. The story was "meh" but the dancing... GOOD LORD!
You could really see the dancer's movements in relation to each other's due to the 3d effect. It really was an epic experience for a dance movie!

    Shrek 4.
It was certainly a nice movie, but it didn't have any of the appeal of the previous Shrek's, and suffered by comparison, and the date I took texted me later that she "wasn't looking for a serious relationship" and that she " enjoyed my company and would like to be friends," so it suffered by association.

    Revolutionary Road.
The acting was brilliant with dynamic and engaging characters and an all too familiar social commentary on the inability to find fulfillment in middle class, suburban America. It was almost all dialog and was extremely slow paced, but I personally love that kind of shit when it's done well. I really do have to ask about the director's choice to have both sex scenes last about 10 seconds, though. Was it done for time considerations, or to make me think even less of the male characters in the movie for their inability to satisfy a woman? Either way, it's probably bad marketing to make your audience think Leonardo Dicaprio is a two-pump chump in any context, so I'd have preferred some kind of montage or cut scene and just assume that he did a job well done. I watched this one with my cat, who was much more receptive of the suggestion for a future movie date.

Just saw Se7en. Took me fifteen years, but damn, what a cool movie. One of those ones that has you thinking even after the credits roll. 9.5/10

    The Matrix

Still one of my favorites. Far from #1 anymore but man... so stylish. The camera angles and transitions and such are just so sick...

it was really good, didn't think i'd like it. their fashion was wonderful.

^My daughters both liked the 'fashion' too. Go figure.

MA...It's easy to tell when someone isn't getting any....
1: They diss the male characters in movies that all the women love by criticizing their sexual prowess.
2: They watch movies with their cat and ponder doing so again in the future.

Maybe you should have seen Shrek with your cat and "RR" with the chick and whispered sweetly in her ear how you have no respect for guys that don't take the time to properly satisfy a woman.

The outcome could have been quite different...I mean, I bet your cat respects you and all, but....

I've been too busy with the Lakers to have any time for movies lately. But, I have a few that I'm looking forward to seeing (un-accompanied by a family pet, BTW) now that the playoffs are over and all that.

Toy Story 3. It's alongside Up and Wall-E as my favorite Pixar film, and it's easily the best of the series (though I was never that much a fan of the first two, to be honest). I saw it in 3D, and it was nice, but I think any good resolution screen would be good enough.

Toy Story 3 was pretty epic, it wasn't like the other two at all.

The Last Airbender. Awesome and easy to follow for someone who hasn't seen the series (like me).

The Last Airbender. Awesome and easy to follow for someone who hasn't seen the series (like me).

According to fans of the series, it was terrible.

Compared to other 3D movies (save Clash of the Titans), it was terrible.

    Hopefully you enjoyed it! :)

Unthinkable - 9/10 - Had some intense and suspenseful moments. I liked to finally see a movie that brings your morals into question. The climax could've been more drawn out, but the ending was god awful. ( The extended version was 100x better though )

The Crazies - 6/10 - Solid opening scenes, showed a little suspense. Government involvement is always a plus in any movie for me, so it had that. But after the characters escaped the government, it almost was boring. Besides that, there were so many zombie contingency errors committed it was pathetic.
