    oh my god...

new robin williams movie called Worlds Greatest Dad is one of the most twisted, head fuck movies i have ever seen... its not funny at all, an quite sad throughout the entire film, i think this is one of the worst movies i have ever seen...

The brutality of Liam Neeson's character is just unreal. In ever fight scene, he's not trying to disable his opponents, he's trying to inflict as much pain and damage as possible, and has no qualms with taking excessive measures, like shooting his boss' wife to get answers.

Dude, they took his fucking DAUGHTER......if that happened to me I'd call a couple a hard-hittin niggers to go to work on 'em with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch myself. Hell yeah he's gonna inflict as much pain and damage as possible. You don't mess with a man's daughters. As for the movie itself, I agree.....it was definitely more than I expected (even though I love Neeson in characters like this) save for the ending.

What is the hype about Avatar for? It looks like a colossal waste of money.

    Marsellus would be pround :'(

and yea, i dont think you can completly comprehend the feeling that liam is trying to portray until you have a life you yourself have brought into this world...

MA...you MUST have went to those movies with your girlfriend and so kudos to you for being so sweet to her.

No, unfortunately. I did get paid $17/hr to watch Twilight because my client was there, though. So there's that.

(That's 17* 2.5 hours, if anyone is wondering. Ka. Ching.)

I didn't say I didn't understand, I just felt it was worth mentioning. I must have laughed for 5 min when he shot the wife.

    The Happening:
I watched 30 seconds of this movie and turned it off. I feel like I got a pretty good idea of where the movie was headed, and I already dealt with more Mark Wahlberg than I could stand.

    Choke:
Jesus Christ, this movie was awesome. Twisted, sick, and hilarious. Rent it now.

    Burn After Reading:
Very strange, but very enjoyable. The characters were cast perfectly, and the story was engaging. I know it didn't get such great reviews, but I thought it was great.

I saw Drag me to Hell with my friends a few days ago....

LOL! That was supposed to be a horror movie?!?! I laughed my ass off it was so bad! The special effects sucked, the lines were worse than Transformers 2, and the actors were just as bad as the lines they were saying.
  • tracidEdge%s's Photo
hah, i love it when people think drag me to hell is supposed to be scary.

also, ma, burn after reading is amazing. and it gets better the more you watch it.

You made a wise decision on this one.....I 'watched' this entire fiasco (although I was building in RCT at the time, thankfully) and it never got better than where you left it. I tried to give Marky Mark a chance since he produces Entourage but, fuck...this was worse than Max Payne.

Both Choke and Burn After Reading are on HBO tomorrow and there's no Laker game so, I'll have to check them out.

I always found it funny that at the end of the movie, Lt. Dan marries a Vietnamese woman.

The Day the Earth Stood Still
Good movie, but the ending totally sucked. I really loved the alien's powers, though. The ability to control anything electronic (and anything subsequently connected to it, including humans) just by touching it? Fuckin' sweet! I want that power...

Inglorious Basterds. absolutely fantastic. one of the best movies i've seen all year.

Saw Shanghai Noon with one of my brothers and both sisters... I've seen it before, but the second time around I came to appreciate the little things. Lol... I love that movie... Jackie's hilarious, and what's-his-face (his pardner) is a total opposite of Jackie.

    Un mas?

The problem I have with the movie is that I always understood that Jenny died of AIDS. It takes many years to actually die of AIDS, and Forest junior was only 4-5 years old. Wouldn't one or both of the Forests have contract AIDS, too?
  • FullMetal%s's Photo
^ I dunno, maybe she contracted it much earlier and didn't know it? It was still a great movie, though.
