Just saw Deja Vu. Wicked sweet, Denzel Washington does an awesome job in this film, high quality action, and some maybe over-the-top past involved with present stuff but that makes it pretty sick. Oh yeah, and the Hummer in a car chase with a Bronco whose driving 4 days in the past

Casino Royale - Already talked about it in its topic.
Cars - My dad wanted to see it. I already talked about it a while ago too. Still pretty good, though it was better on the big screen.
Slither - I'd heard it was a good horror movie, which is rare, so I figured I'd go for it. Not bad. It felt like a take on the typical horror movie where some horrible menace befalls a small peaceful town, except that the characters were far more human and the movie wasn't utter shit. There were certainly many echoes of other horror movies (I'm pretty sure I even heard the theme from 'Aliens' or maybe 'Predator,' not sure which), but it just seemed more thought out and less cliche-ish. Not to say it was amazing, but after having seen my fair share of crappy horror movies, it was a nice take on the genre. -

Watched 'Howl's Moving Castle' again yesterday, since it'd been a while since I'd seen it. Probably the best looking of Miyazaki's films, but I'd probably only put it as 3rd or 4th of my favorites of his. 'Spirited Away' is still perfect, and I'd probably put 'Laputa' and 'Princess Mononoke' behind it. I still don't quite 'get' the story of 'Howl's Moving Castle,' so it's lagging behind a bit. Eventually it may move up. Still, fourth isn't bad
And this time I noticed some of the references (and/or similarities) to previous Ghibli films. There were a lot. At least all of the previously mentioned films were well covered.
