anyone seen A Scanner Darkly? No one on my other forums has...

I have.

Its confusing and the plot meanders. I guess thats Phillip K. Dicks point though. Gorgeous visuals and Keanu Reeves actually fits into the role for once. Robert Downey Jr is good in it as well.

Worth a rental probably.

if it ever comes out on freaking video. I read the book and it seems it should "meander" a bit, but the closest theater playing that movie a month ago was over 50 miles away...

awesome movie, loved the art work for it

Superman Returns - 7.5/10

it was an alright movie, Lex Luthor carried the movie i thought, absolutly evil, and he's actually dangerous in this one i thought, atleast he seems more dangerous.

very funny film with a good clean premise with a good lesson at the end.

Pretty good. I'd recommend it to everyone.

bought X-Men 3 and watched that with friends. none of them but me had seen it before so they wouldnt let me use one of the alternate endings...

hopefully going to see Flags of our Fathers... i thought the book was pretty good so the movie will hopefully keep up

The Prestige. I loved it. Great movie. Nolan is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors.

Porco Rosso, in full this time. Pretty good, though not one of my favorites of Miyazaki.

I saw Saw 3 over the weekend..

Pretty gorey stuff..

Persuasion. The 1995 one. Not sure how they managed to hire an all-ugly cast, but they did it.

Art School Confidential

I enjoyed it. It was quite funny and had an interesting ending. It makes one think about what fame really is all about. Recomended.

3)it was directed by the head of the Church of Satan
and 4)IMDB said it had one of the best endings ever.

Especially with that guy ripping the rings out of his hands and skin. It made me sick to my stomach.

I liked it though, great plot. Call me stupid, but I didn't see the twist in it until the very end.

^Yeah, but i found it really fake. How did they get the rings into him, ya know. Besides there was a pliyer (sp?) behind the bomb. All he has to do was rip out the ring in his left hand. The guy breaking his fucking ankle to get out of the chain was damn sick. But the two deaths that fucking went through me were the rib contraption and the fucking body twister.

My favorite one was the dead pigs. So groase but was so creative. All the deaths that were going to happen to Jeff's enemys were fucking toucher. Great movie, too bad I seen the ending coming.
