I just saw "Kentucky Fried Movie." Most random, yet hilarious thing i've seen in a while.

I saw Pirates again and it was better than the first time, although it still dragged in the middle.

Finally got around to seeing Super Size Me. It was really good though kind of scary when you think about it. I knew fast food was bad for you, but not that bad. If you haven't seen it, I would recommend it.

    Lady In The Water- 8/10

Not what I expected at all... one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. I laughed, I laughed, and I laughed. It's so random... I just love it. Going to see it a 3rd time this week.

Well, he manipulates realism. I think it is unrealistic for most people to live off of fast food for a month. However, if you have the time I would recommend reading "Fast Food Nation." It has nothing to do with an unrealistic diet, and everything to do with how the corporations work, how the food is picked, processed, flavoured and cooked. Definitely worth reading, although I think there may be a movie coming.

Rented "Must Love Dogs." It was very charming; lots of fun.

Good point. It isn't totally unrealistic though. I mean, even eating it once a day for lunch (and people do that) is close enough to this. The liver problems he had would probably never happen to anyone that fast even if you ate it once a day but the weight gain and getting addicted to the food would imo.

I have flipped through Fast Food Nation but haven't read it all the way through... yet. Not sure if you got the DVD version of Super Size Me because the guy who made Super Size Me does an interview with the guy who wrote Fast Food Nation (I'm terrible with names lol). It's pretty good because they talk about how the farming industry has had to change because of how much the fast food companies demand of it and how fast food is really just a simulation of real food made with tons of different chemicals from different factories.

John Tucker must Die. I liked it, but I like stupid movies, and it reminded me of mean girls which was really good.

Well, IMO, the one you saw, it's good, but is the worst of the HP movies that have been made so far.

No way imo the goblet of fire is the worst i mean they got it pretty much right but its that damn Dumbledore, he's way too agressive and basically is shit for the part, kinda ruins the whole film for me. Shame the old Dumbledore died, he was perfect for the part. I also feel that Cho wasnt pretty enough :p lol

Either the Prisoner of Azkaban or Chamber of Secrets is the best HP movie so far.
  • mantis%s's Photo
I thought Azkaban was head and shoulders above the rest. The way the seasons changed with the whomping willow was so good.
  • artist%s's Photo
Yeah i agree. From the Stone onwards they seemed to improve but then i saw Goblet and thought it was a major let down.
