Ok well here's a few things from my latest release.
I just liked this breakrun, i could imagine it on the ride so yeah . .
A place to feed the birds. Just a nice little touch.
This is probebly my favourite one, i love the way this is all put together and i found it was a really nice path filler while keeping with the theme.
Well here you can see some custom lockers and a custom lampost. I think they work quite well.
Yes my park has dead people in it.
A ruined boat stuck on a branch hanging over a waterfall, i love this one aswell.

^ LOL! If you make your screens that small, it certainly are "little things!
Anyway, good to say what you like about your own work, altough most things are not so original. (like the tower-pathfiller-being a small version of Ty's a bit bigger one and the lockers been done by x250 before, etc. But thanks anyway.)
Thanks cBass, you are right: Titan seems a master of landscaping, even, or may be especially, as these things are stored away in small corners, so not attracting direct attention, but still they are there, subtle, magnificent and veeeery special.
Good job to point them out, cBass! -

They might not be original but ive certainly done them differently and applied my style. But thanks anyway -

Fantastic little details there! The bird-feeding thing is a really good idea, and the well is pulled off really well.

lol, J_K I think I have used all those ideas in one park or another, but yours are pulled off better, nice work. -

Ok well some more little things from Cape Congo.
I like the interaction between the wateride and the coaster, being a rider i could imagine it.
I like the brake-run at the end of the ride. I have also made a lower walkway where mechanics would check before the start of the day to see if the ride was ok.
Heres another shot of the station of the ride. There is the control box near the top of the screen where ride ops can sit and control the ride. There is also a lever for another ride op to use when signaling the ride. ( I don't know why i added that, but i thought it would of been a nice touch.)
Here we see a nice little custom exit from the ride on a nice walkway. There is also the entrance to the rapids where you push the barrel to see the skulls eyes light up.
Heres one of the more obvious touches of the park. The custom ride sign. I thought it would be cool to get the ruined jungle theme over a bit more.
Well i use these sometime. Thats the custom benches and the lamp. This time i encorperated a planter in the landpost so its not only practical but decorative as well.
The anamatronic hippo that lays in the pool with bubbles coming up.
Here you can see a chance for a photo with sam the parrot.
I just like the way the water ran over the path then dropped to a ruined hole in the ground.
Just a nice little picnic area with a pulley under the lifthill for the ride.
Enjoy. JKEdited by J K, 31 March 2006 - 11:01 AM.

Some cool stuff there JK! I really love the custom sign for the rides.
Was thinking of doing one of my new solo, but we'd be here all day.

Toon, This is how this topic started. Parkmakers pointing out little details in their parks that they didnt think others caught.

the whole point of this thread is to show your own work because you are showing pictures of the things that others may not notice or realize what it might be its significance. heres some of my older works:
(from Six Flags Colossal Heights) without needing any architecture around it, i look at that picture and see a plain old realistic amusement park. i think the way the ferris wheel and the plants in front of it come together make it look really nice.
(from Canali De Venezia) from one of my older parks, i think this really shows the theme of Venice. i think the big idea is the use of canoes as gondolas which really look like gondolas.
(from Uchtenstag Parque) the way the raised canal thing surrounds the little garden looks really cool imo
(from Uchtenstag Parque) the path, s&s tower, rollercoaster, and architecture interaction is imo one of my best. -

^But they're not really little details? They are just bits you like about your own work. -

and this thread was started to show shit from released work. people are just advertising with this now, which isn't what it's for. -

I was'nt advertising, i was just posting parts of my released work that some people may have missed. No one seemed to have a problem when i did it before. Plus what does it really matter if we post our own work with some of the small parts we like. Turtle started off the topic by doing that. -

JK: wow fantastic list of details. I really didnt saw all when i looked at the park first time. Even this hippo took me 5 minutes to find
Its just awesome how you build everything with sense and a bit of humor. i just love this -

If you want to post your own work, no-one else can really stop you. I did indeed start the topic by doing that, and in hindsight, it was a mistake. I didn't think the whole thing through, I just posted the topic.
I just think it's nicer if you post other people's work, at least that way you can't be accused of being big-headed.
And Yelshi, why show us Venice and pick out the gondolas? I could show you maybe fifty parks over the years that used canoes for gondolas.
