holy crap, one of my screens made it in here?
wow.
lol thanks louis, i'm really glad you like it, but does it qualify as a "little thing"?
i added them in there because i thought that color really made for a pretty accent along with the dark trunks and light forest green of the bigger trees.
but wow, thanks:] -

Here's some little things from our H2H5 Finals park, Worlds of Tim Burton. A majority of these are details I made that I want people to see, but I encourage both JK and dr. dirt to post their favorite details from the park.
This is a small house in the queue for Midnight Rider illustrating the Headless Horseman's bloody murders. The red vine pieces are blood splatter.
This is in Big Fish. In the top left is Edward Bloom talking to Karl the Giant, whose cave has leftover bones surrounding it. The bottom right has some storefront facades I'm proud of.
Here's where Karl broke through a farm to grab livestock for food. The bubbling pieces are footprints, and the white fog are chicken feathers.
Here's Jenny's leaning house.
Trackitecture tree from Sleepy Hollow. The vines are hanging spanish moss
Some of J K's work in Charlie. I love the whimsy and color of it all. He captured the quirky nature of the movie perfectly, and one of the few cases where RCT looks almost good enough to eat.
Again, more of that whimsy.
In the top of the screen shows Mrs. Lovett's Pie Shop, one of my most favorite buildings I've done. I also like the interaction of the turn with the buildings in the bottom.
Dr. Finkelstein's observatory/lab by dr. dirt. I love how authentic this looks, and the accuracy of it amazes me.
J K and I worried about how to make these tents, but he managed to pull them off perfectly, just like the movie.
Some of dirt's fab archy in Planet of the Apes.
Some of my archy for PotA. I love how it goes against all that's sacred to me in parkmaking, like neatness and organization. However, I like how it's chaotic, but still interesting. It was a successful experiment for me in semi-fantasy.
I really like this bell tower for some reason. After 5 or 6 tries, I finally found one I liked.
So, anyways, enjo the park. We worked hard for your enjoyment, and hopefully you cna find more of the little things hidden in the park. -

Wow, that was an incredible amount of little details. Having only LL, I never would have been able to see them from the overview. I'm impressed with the amount of thought that went into the park; it's really an in depth piece of art rather than a theme park. I find it incredible how people here at NE have taken this roller coaster game and stretched it far past what was originally intended for it.
P.S. Where did the term "trackitecture" come from? It is kind of clever, I guess, but everyone uses it as common place now. It seems funny to me that everyone says "archy" also, since architecture is too hard to spell I guess. -

All that shows your true brilliance Robbie!!
You're just getting too good with this game haha. Your skill level is intense!
I love every single screen and dirt's observatory really is impressive in my opinion.
I find it to be a pretty good idea too that you're posting some of your own stuff since you know where you put detail in the park. For the viewer it's harder to figure out.
Not to take away from your amazing park but I feel encouraged to post some of my stuff too. I'll edit this post in a bit and add screens and a description to what I like about that.
Here it is:
ImaginIt:
I just love the architecture here. My favorite buildins are the brown one, the orange one and the one on the far left and I also love the flat ride.
Same goes for this screen. I really like how the queue of the motion simulator turned out!
A little restaurant + the building with the motion simulator on the left.
The park's waterride and the landscaping under the top hat of Shogun.
The exit path + store of Shogun! I really love how this turned out and I think the placement of the store is great!
If you take a close look you can see that without the inversion people's heads would get chopped of. I can just imagine that this would be a sweet element for a real coaster!
One of my favorite tunnels I ever created!
I always think about how the queue could be as interesting as possible. I've been on Black Mamba various times and Black Mamba has one of the best queues ever in my opinion so everytime I build a queue I try to build it in a way that's not boring for the people standing in line (a lot of scenery and most important of all the ride interaction). The corkscrew is definately the best part of this screen.
This has to be my best coaster station ever. You should take a look at the park and see it yourself!
Also a very well themed start of the queue in my opinion. In Duisburger Wunderland I had an Asian area once with a very similar queue. Since this area is especially japanese that entrance is kinda supposed to be religious too. Look at this and see how it's over the queue:
http://members.cox.n...t/toriigate.jpg
I also love the placement of flying saucers ride here.
I also love this tunnel. I actually did drawings for this ride and I was hoping that the hole would turn out bigger but it's okay this way too. The ride is called Genesis because I thought imagine looking up through this whole in the mountain. Imagine the sun shining through it and that would have a very special feel to it I think. Now imagine this area being some kind of tribal area and imagine them seeing the whole in the rock with the sun shining through as something religious. So this might pretty much be where their religion starts and this is also where this ride really starts...that's why I called it Genesis. (hope it's not too hard to understand)
I love the little wooden planks in the mountain. They are covering a hole through which you can see the wooden mine ride.
This is a lovely screen of the first drop of JDP's woodie. I also like how he added the chain return.
Also built by JDP. I really like the ladders that lead up on the roofs.
Also I want to say one more thing about this park. I think many people misunderstood the name ImaginIt. I think I can say that I prefer realistic theme parks to fantasy park and normal amusement parks. So think of this as a real park close to you. Many people said the name doesn't fit at all because ImaginIt is not a name you can use for a realistic park. But I think it would fit. Let's say you live in Germany like me and this park opens next to you with the name ImaginIt. First of all in real life fantasy parks like the Elementalists built for example of course aren't really possible. Also you can't just go to a lot of different countries in one day. So this park's name I thought fits because it lets you imagine how other parts of the world are. It's just supposed to be a real life park where people could really think about the rest of the world.
Dinotopia:
Some of my best archy so far. It is heavily inspired by this (Chandara):
http://www.dinotopia...ara_section.jpg
But no wonder because this was the Dinotopia park dlhand, Mifune, and me built.
Same thing from a different angle.
The Dino Fountain. Wow I gotta say I really love how this turned out!
Dinosaurs breeding in Dinotopia. I loved this as soon as I saw it! Very creative in my opinion. This was built by Mifune.
Another screen from Dino...this time mostly by dlhand. This ride was completely his idea but sadly he did not have time to finish it completely. I'm 100% sure this would have turned out much better if he could've finished it on his own.
So yeah, that's it from me.Edited by Fisch, 22 July 2009 - 02:39 PM.

I might be able to comment on that cave screen of yours / mine
I intended to build a place where the dinosaurs are born and where the babies get a kind of "newborn care".
The wooden thingys are carts with little dinosaur eggs on them, while the brown trackitecture is meant to be the nest of the dinosaur on the left side.
All that always bothered me with how this turned out is the color of the pillar supports. The thing I like most are my custom lamps and the elevator, since the dinos obviously can't use the human paths ^^ -

Thos handcarts in dinotopia were one of the first things i noticed in the park. Very well done there! Also, the yellow, green and white building in dino has some awesome architecture on it, specifically right along the edge of the map there, the roofing and pillars that surround the track.
robbie and fisch, those are THE best screens I've seen in rct. So much detail, truely fantastic and packed with "little things"! -

Some stuff from Dream World Indoor I'm proud of.
I like Dreamcoaster's exit on the left, and the interiour of the shop. I did a similar shop in Aquatica, but the monitors were almost invisible there and I don't think anyone noticed it.
On the right there's a shoerack, for you can't enter the playground on shoes.
Some airhockeytables. I don't know the rules of airhockey, but I just added some highscore tables on the wall.
Magnus had the idea for a buffet restaurant. We were going to use the minigolf-hack RRP did in Calypso Quay first, but again: no time (and no Magnus ). Shame there's huge peepjam here ingame...
Just a screen to show how the RC Boats used to look like.
Somehow I really love this gate. It's very simple and leads to nowhere, but it just looks cool.
There's more to discover in the park, but the first three screens are the coolest details to me. -

Liam, you are quickly becoming my favorite non-Parkmaker. Some of the stuff you did in H2H truly is incredible.
I love the realistic style, like Geewhzz used too in this H2H, but you have the gift to add a lot more atmosphere, nice architecture and theming to it. Those screens you've posted certainly prove that. I also try to 'invent' those realistic touches into my park, that you see in almost every real life park, like for example the ball pit and coin horse which you may have noticed on this site.. There are LOTS more of these realistic little things in real life parks, so I'm looking forward to a solo, or just some more work from you!

Wow, thanks A LOT! Being compared to geewhzz with more atmosphere is quite something. You make me blush!I also try to 'invent' those realistic touches into my park, that you see in almost every real life park, like for example the ball pit and coin horse which you may have noticed on this site.. There is a lot of stuff coming up. A 100x100 park on the frontpage soon, for example. That park is bit outdated, but still pretty fun I think. Another park is nearly complete too!
My most recent project is almost ready to be advertised, in terms of detail it will be better than every of my previous parks I predict. Do you mind if I borrow your coin horse idea? It's awesome, and it fits the setting very well. Thanks for mentioning.
Thanks again for the kind words too. -

I've just checked them out, and they are definitely not the same.. He used the horses as part of an arcade game in wwap and thrill zone, and as scenery piece in firefly.. I had a coin insert machine next to it, and the idea behind is just different
When I was looking at Thrill Zone though I noticed how much ideas Lenox Mall actually used from that park.. It actually took some of awesomeness of it away..

RCT sure has gotten a lot smaller over the years. I remember when Mike or mick used chairlift cables to create a jurassic park electric enclosure(in the first hollywood hills park, i think??) Back then, that would have made "the little things". Now it's all about the tiniest little details.
The game sure is different. Even the parks are a lot smaller now... (largely in part because of the smaller details in the parks) -

i was bored, so i decide to take a look at Milos design "Tempest"
there are several things i love about this park.
i love this resturant. those steps are just beuatiful for some reason.
perfectly executed.
this is just really cool to look at.
the little photo spot. jeez.
i meant to put on a picture of the rapids rides station, but the upload failed somehow... nevermind, its still spectacular.
