General Chat / Scenes which give you chills

I was reading another thread on this so I thought I would start one here, for me the one I ALWAYS remember is when Gandalf rode out in ROTK to aid the horseriders, that shit was fucking powerful.

I remember seeing Silence of the Lambs for the first time at the theater and being really nervous when Buffalo Bill and Clarice Starling were in the dark room of the basement and he was wearing the night-vision goggles and was reaching out to touch her but she couldn't see him and I thought he was gonna grab her but she turned around right when he put his hand out so he didn't grab her and the camera angle was from his point of view so it kinda looked like you were gonna grab her and now that I think of it that scene kinda reminded me of playing Splinter Cell just a little bit but then she hears something and she spins around really fast and shoots him and shoots out a window so you can see him and wow that is such an excellent movie and I never get tired of it but I do get tired of sentence structure and punctuation occasionally.

^^I think he means scenes in movies...

I agree that the Gandalf scene in ROTK was very powerful.
If anyone here has seen the movie "Life is Beautiful", the scene where the father walks past his son is extremely moving. Though it doesn't give me chills, it's just straight up powerful.

By the way, if you haven't seen the movie but get the chance too, be sure to watch it in its original Italian. Subtitles aren't that hard to read, and the Italian adds so much to the movie.

i think all of schindlers list gave me the chills, and made me cry.

Also the ending of Red Dragon when nortons charector gets the call that the tooth fairy was still alive and has his home address.

Pretty much the whole of the Magdalene Sisters was horrible. So chills in a bad way.
Gandalf & Balrog falling down the mines made my spine tingle.

Never got into LOTR, myself. Don't know why. I have watched all the films, but thought they were too long and boring...and the end on the last one was too drawn out!

The Passion of the Christ. Hahaha no still haven't seen it not going to lie.

The end of Pay It Forward always got me. I dunno why :( Who said Life is Beautiful, good call. That shit made me cry and it wasn't even in my own language.

And...most of LotR of course. I know this all sounds like the movies that made me cry, but no, I get the idea, however, this is going to sound like another one: I'm a sucker for Love Actually. You English sure know how to make a chick flick, that movie was way better than anything made over here in the genre. The scene where the guy is at his best friend's door showing the signs to Keira Knightly, now that's chills. Probably because it's Keira.

I have many but one of the most moving, chilling moments I have seen is in the movie "Ladder 49". At the very end when he is trapped in the small room, and his friends can't get through the door because there is too much fire in the way. That part is just, wow. That show is just awesome itself. If you haven't seen it please do, It'll make you think about life. It's incredible.

Why do I get the feeling I'm going to have more memories of chills from movies once I see King King, The DaVinci Code, and Munich.
