I'm looking forward to The Da Vinci Code, mainly because I haven't seen a comedy since Anchorman and I feel like I need the laughs.

i had a couple while watching Crash. like when the guy who owned the convenience store tried to shoot the hispanic person, but his daughter runs up and takes the bullet. but doesn't because she has an "invincibility cloak" on. except that the bullet was really a blank. or when the prick officer tried to save the black wife who he had molested the night before after he pulled her and her husband over. etc.

that movie was fucking intense. but that part where the store owner shot the girl gave me probably the worst chills i remember having while watching any movie.

Does anyone else think the final 25 minutes of 2001 are stunning?

I want Bay and Bruckheimer to try making a film where the only voices speaking for 25 minutes are the chorus singing in the score.

In the most recent Star Wars when Anakin breathes in the mask for the first time as Vader.

    You sly sonofabitch.

    Why so senile?

The end of Ep III, when they are staring out over Tatoine.

    Yeah that was very moving.

True romance - when in the comic book store and the song "wounded bird" comes on.

King Kong - When kong dies

My girl - At the boys funeral

We should have a movie forum just like the music forum as movies are a big part of basic chat, just an idea. Of course the forum would be led by Bruckner :)

Yes definitely, but I think my favourite part of the film was halfway through, where the waitress walks around the room and out into the corridor upside down. Brilliant.

Micool - senile? You think i'm forgetting the good bits of The Da Vinci Code? How could I when there weren't any?

Da Vinci Code was poor writing, it was just like a TV Soap, that's all.

    Anyways, more scenes:
Kong and Ann laughing together, Ann performing for Kong.
The icerink scene, one of the most touching scenes I have EVER seen in a movie.

Scene that gave me a chill is from The Passion.. were James Caviezel says, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" at the end.. the acting on that ONE line is absolutely mind-blowing, especially compared to the rest of the film.

The first ever scene that gave me the chills was actually from Master of the Universe lol.. when Frank Langella (Skeletor) says "Of what consequence are you now? These people, this world, they are nothing - the universe is power, pure unstoppable power - and I am that force, I am that will. Kneel before your master... (He-Man refuses)... fool, you are no longer my equal, I am more than man, more than life... I am a GOD!" ... when i saw that at age 5 i thought it was awesome, and it still is now. They will never get that much emotion in the remake.

I'm sorry, but I thought the entire Passion was boring.

Thats what i hinted at. Appart from that one well acted line.
