Advertised this during fiesta.
For the past four monthes, I have slowly been working on, taking pictures, and researching all of the new themed section for Six Flags Great Adventure in 2005, The Golden Kingdom.

Having never been to SFGAdv I cannot attest to the accuracy of this but I must say it looks like you're putting a very real effort forth and you're enthusiasm for the subject is obvious. Great work.

Well it's not done, and second, I'm not at that part of the Golden Kingdom yet. -

I really like those railings, and the use of certain objects in ways i've never seen before. I can't comment on the accuracy, but it looks great. -

Steve: Took me a while to figure out what I need, but I finally got it.
Turtle: Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.
I posted this in my fiesta topic, I'll just repost it for those that didn't see.

This is why I hate recreations...they always look so bland. I'm sure you can do better than this, but the point of RCT is that it's not meant to be like real life...you have to improvise with tracks and hacks...and if you go for recreations, you really can't explore the roof possiblities, which, imo is the most important thing. -

Exactly Atlus. The colours are so dull in recreations but i suppose if they wernt it wouldnt be a recreation. -

That is pure bull shit. The "not meant to be like real life" part is easily backed up by the fact that the official site had dl's for real parks, even when the original game was young, and then rct2 comes out with "make your own Six Flags" parks as well as five "recreations" if you can call them that. And roof possibilities? Yeah, that's important if you're looking at the park from a helicopter, look at the park from a peep's perspective.
Sff, I really do admire your efforts to make sure everything is accounted for, but I do disagree with how you represent some of the things in GK, as I know I would have done those same things when I was recreating sf had 1), the gk existed back then and 2), I was doing it in rct2. I think its really just from how long you've been playing the game, because I do like the accuracy but not necessarily the style its built in. And I strongly reccommend that the next pic you show is of kk, even if it's its station or something like that, because, well, I want to see it. -

It's alright I guess. Recreations are really hard to make accurate and eye pleasing (Hmm, that must say something about real parks...). -

i think that the buildings and the eating area look really cool, but the colors do seem a little bland. make sure you show us pics of rides that you build also! -

Those first 3 screens were great.
Newest screen:
Is there some foilage that is supposed to be behind the green square building between the 2 brown square buildings? Even in a real life, they wouldnt leave a wall bare like that. Foliage would break that up nicely.Edited by ride_exchanger, 19 December 2005 - 05:01 PM.

Phatage: Thanks, but I'm far from Kingda Ka's area right now.
Xenon: Yes they are, most of the screens I've showed had to be done about two times to get it looking right and making is appealing to me.
Madhollander: Well first I have to get through the Balin's Jungleland (A really large jungle gym) and some flat rides over in that area, after that it's on to Kingda Ka.
newk: I'm only building the buildings as accurate as possible, and yes, RCT color choices suck.
ride_exchanger: That area it a "behind the scenes" area and can not be viewed by guests at the park. I have no idea whats back there, but I doubt it's anything specail.
Thanks for the all the comments so far. -

Last update for of 2005!
-----------
Here, guests can watch the tigers interact with eachother and come up to the glass walls so the guests can take an up-close view. Of course, the fifteen foot fences are there for YOUR protection, so don't climb over them. Some New York hommie is gonna want to show of to his girl and take a picture with a tiger, not happening. The building behind the viewing area is where they keep the tigers, and where the sleep. Just beyond that, the wonder Spirit Of The Tiger show will keep guests glued to the action, a must see!
Creeping closer and closer to main attraction, Kingda Ka!Edited by sixflagsfreak56, 22 December 2005 - 07:18 PM.

I think that the path width and foliage selection (concerning things like that custom tree) prevent you from capturing the atmosphere of the GK, because other than that the accuracy is spot on. -

I really love this park so far.
I love the way you have used objects to make other objects such as the flags and fences etc. And it shows how mcuh effort you have put into making it look just right.
That custom tree is cool aswell, Nothing really i dislike.
Great job
Cant wait till 2006 screens. -

Great job and a neat concept. Too bad there aren't animals to actually go in the areas.
