It all looks promising. But you really need to start with something MUCH easier. When you build anything in RCT, the secret is to imagine what it would look like as if it really existed. Picture yourself strolling thru your park. Once you slip into this mindset, your building style will change immensly.
Also, if your building anything just to get an applause, a few nice words, and a thumbs up from some of the RCT Gods around here, then leave. Now. If this is the only reason you play the game, then I suggest you just leave it alone. Go find yourself a girlfriend. Get a puppy or something. You will thank me in the long run... -

I don't just come here to get applause from the "RCT GODS" I come for the fun of the game and the dream of being a great RCT master. Since you guys seem to be professionals, why not get some suggestions from you to make it better. Of course I'm beginning to change my mind about this site as professional.Edited by coasternator, 29 March 2006 - 10:15 PM.

Good. In that case I reccommend you start with something a bit smaller/easier. Try taking a 100x100 map and build a nice big terrain coaster around it and add some quaint themeing. Something that you might find in the original RCT. -

Being honest about your work has already helped you: you've scrapped an idea that was way over your head to begin with and decided to start a fresh.
I do suggest you listen to what they say and try n mature a little, i mean 'RCT GODS' who are you kidding! there just like you but have a better understanding of scenery and layout.
They are professional, just look at the layout of the site and comps then compare it to rct2.com n rctmart.
Try not to get too disheartened with the critics, everyone has been on the recieving end at some point! -

Well, it seems I have found the olf files to this. So I intend to begin repairing and starting work on this again. This time just doing the normal lands. -

Instead of replying and telling us how you are going to start working again... just start working on it! Once you've got a substantial amount completed, post a screen... -

Alright, I will do that next time. But anyway the first finished structure in the restoration of this park has emerged.
I give you the new Main Street Station:

You have improved since your last work...and I like your scenery selection, pretty elegant. There's something missing, but I can't find out what it is...Edited by RCFanB&M, 01 July 2006 - 04:39 PM.

One thing that you could work on is the walls along the tunnel entrances. I too have always had troubles with that when I did a MK style park. All I can think of is do some sort of glass covering and have the walls go along the path. That way you don't have that jagged edge type walls. other then that I love the station, definitely elegant. -

That station is pretty nice and the clock and the flag are nice little touches. The unfinishedness bugs me though. Your improving so keep it up. -

It looks good but i just have one question;
If it's the Main Street Train Station like you said, then what part will the train run through? I can't work that out!?
But like most people have said, it looks good, but maybe try and soften those side walls on the tunnels. -

^The train will run between the buildings on the hill, and the hillside with bushes and trees on it. That's why there is a blank strip of grass running the length of the screen.
Edit: On top of the berm.Edited by Todd Lee, 03 July 2006 - 10:07 AM.

i read back some i this topic. would say i agree with those who said that NE is a harsh place for criticism. i believe that though the members give great criticism they dont give it in the nicest of ways. this doesn't apply to all. i would say the NE is a great place to improve you work and become a great park maker but when it comes to getting started it would sometime be better to do in a different site and then come here. just my two cents.
as for this park i fear it is not that original. Disney parks have been attempted so many times by so many different people that they all begin to look the same except a few amazing Disney Parks. not to discourage you but i think that if you are to make this park better then the others(which is not easy for a beginner, no ofense) you should look at making the park original. sure tkae osme of the original disney park setups and designs but then mix them up. re-creat them in a way that makes them different then the rest. so far your work in thei park has been good but i could find a number of Disney Parks with features the same as in your park(many that might look better)
anyway keep it up and maybe mix it up.

Tomorrowland will be the first land I begin work on tomorrow. I finished the main entrance to the park. It includes a ferry landing on the big asnd blue Lake Elias. Pictures of my beginning land Tomorrowland will available shortly.
Here is a picture of the area:
