Just to raise the alert that this version of the park's castle has been demolished. I am finishing up the final version of a unique Cinderella Castle for the icon of the park. As my sig states below, the castle should be ready for screening in the early weeks of March. -

Adminstators, please excuse this double post.
Update:
After long rumors that another version of Cinderella Castle was going to be inserted into the Seoul addition of Disneyland, a newer version of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This castle has recently been announced in a press conference by Disney that the structure will serve as a new version of the mystery tour attraction. This attraction was featured at the nearby Tokyo Disneyland park in Japan in which guests search through the mysteries of the castle to find Cinderella's lost glass slipper in the Japanese Cinderella Castle. Now it is expected that guests will be doing the same search, only now looking for one of the fairy's wands from the 1959 film, Sleeping Beauty.

What you've added and changed is all good, but you need more towers, and very steep roofs, to top the few towers you do have. Towers are like the most prominent visual icons on castles, and yours are conspicuously absent. -

You'll be happy to know that this design of the castle no longer exists and the traditional and orignal Sleeping Beauty Castle will be taking its place. -

add a steep roof on that central tower, and You've finally nailed it!
though I think it resembles Cinderella castle more than sleeping beauty castle:
There's supposed to be a tower that's higher than all the other ones, where Princess Aurora can await "true love's kiss" -

Mini Update:
The construction of the monorail system that will be connecting Disneyland Park to the rest of the resort as reached a significant position. Work on the monorail station to serve the main park has just recently been completed. The route is expected to travel through the shopping district Downtown Disney, four resort hotels, and rumors have it of a second theme park also being shaped to the southwest of the park.

not gonna lie, that D looks horrible. kill it.
the station itself isn't bad. maybe a little squareish, and a tad frilly, but it's good enough.
the fountains on the front bother me.. make them symmetric, they're screaming for it.
i'm not sure it's disneyland ish, but it works, i guess. -

I want to make this an excellent park when I'm done. What do I need to do in order to make it among the best ever made? If that' even possible. -

XD um..
here:
steps to making a good NE park
build complex and intiresting buildings and rides
theme them well
have a good park layout
have well-places flats as well as coasters
have excellent landscapes and foliage
create atmospheric themes
make everything more aesthetically pleasing than it already is
enter for spotlight. -

build what you like. when you're in a state where you love your park and can't wait until it's that time of the day where you can continue it, you are heading full speed towards "the best ever".
it's that simple.Edited by posix, 25 February 2007 - 08:33 AM.

I gotta agree with what posix said. You build because you want to, and usually how you want to. Don't just build because you fell pressured to.
On topic, I like the screen. Yes, the D should be shot and laid to rest, as it doesn't look very good with the signs the game provides. Also, you should try to make everything kinda symmetrical, since that's what Disney does. Otherwise, it looks good. Keep it up. -

If you're going to use that D for the disneyland monorail sign use an M for the monorail as well. Or just don't use either. -

Intersting to say the least. Not sure I like it though. I guess I need to see more to get a good feel for what you are trying to accomplish. Keep it going though.

Update:
A simple design has been completed for the central icon of any magic kingdom style park designed by Disney, the castle. The more famous of the the castle collection is the original Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland. Because of that, I've decided to create a similar, but not exactly same design for the castle. So I present Sleeping Beauty Castle in Seoul Disneyland.

The path going in seems way too small for such a large building. It seems more like a fortification than the fairytale home of a princess.
