General Chat / Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

I didn't want to crowd the other topic with this, so I started a new one. I saw this last night and I thought it was great. They realised the purpose of the book and executed it skillfully. I was even surprised by the amazing cinematography, the coming up to the portkey sceen in the start of the movie was AMAZING. I loved the flow, I loved the acting, I loved the sets. It was brilliantly done. I know I will be seeing it again.

I aswell really enjoyed the movie, its was just perfectly done and the CG was brilliantly used, just a beautifully realised book adaption.

On another note, some of my mates are good friends with Emma Watson in real life, so I might be actually meeting her soon. That will be odd.

Wow. That is amazing. You must tell us about it.

    I've met her. :)

My friend is the girl who backflips at the end of the great hall when the Beaubatons girls arrive, and I went up there for a days filming with her. Emma's lovely, but the guys were really stuck up, I felt.

My life is horrible. I really want to meet the cast, see what they are like, etc etc. And by cast I mean Daniel, Rupert, and Emma.

How did you know, or feel, they were stuck up Turtle?

The kid who plays Harry Potter is a sucky actor. Granted, I'm judging having only seen the first film. But I don't care, he sucked. The other two were good, though.

I loved the movie, though the audience I was with was quite rude. Talking, cheering, getting up, etc.

Interesting that some of you have met the cast. I'm jealous, I must admit.

The actors have thus far matured greatly.

I only might be meeting her as one of my group of friends used to live up in Oxford, where she goes to school, and therefore alot of them know her really well - its just coincidence.

Getting back on track... Goblet of Fire was definitely really good. Not as good as Azkaban, but still much better than the first two exercises in mediocrity.

Yeah, I agree with AP. And Emma is a really nice person, though you can get her talking and not stopping if you begin a conversation she's passionate about. :p.

So, does everyone in the UK know her?
  • mantis%s's Photo
Totally. I used to do gymnastics with her.

I've met Rupert, lives about 10 mins drive away from me. Not even joking.

And I know the Queen, she live like what? 15 minutes away?
  • deanosrs%s's Photo
I know someone who went to school with her. Headington Girls' School nr Oxford, if I remember correctly, perhaps ironically only minutes away from the window in the Subtle Knife is described as being.

    Hi, btw.
