"Worlds of Adventure" by WillMontu.
Anyone remember that guy? He made some pretty sweet parks way back in the day.
"Sweet"? Well, for his time, I guess, maybe. If any of his parks were released today, though, he'd get assaulted, and rightfully so. 6,000 foot tall n00b coasters, with scenery that makes the scenarios look like spotlights, just aren't in fashion anymore, thank God. -

Well duh. Obviously for his time. If we viewed it as current dates then about 95% of all Danimation spotlights would totally suck. -

I thought they sucked then, too! The only ones I thought were really great were the SAcoasterfreak, Greg Reese, Joe Holland, and Greg Moore parks, and maybe a couple more I don't remember. Today my list would be the same, only the "a couple more I don't remember" list would probably be different, including, likely, Corkscrewed's spotlight, which I hated back then, but has stood the test of time, I think. -

that's a thinker...
I think it was some random site on the same top 20 list as cavs depot back in the day. The first one I remember was robbins workbench riverfront thingy. Though, if you count the official site competition entries, my first dl was the minetrain or the bobsled winners.
First rct2 park? Some lame ass park made by noobs at rct2.com when the game came out. Some guy was really out for blood when I basically told him he didn't know how to play the game (he had a real ego, too, though he was god of rct2).
I have yet to dl an rct3 park.
oh, and for the record, willmontu was NEVER good. Except by station standards, which at the time were far below dnet standards. And the only spotlights I really thought sucked were the rocky mountain thing, the weird "machine" which was only one coaster, and of course... middleton megapark. Which, I actually like better than the other 2 simply because of the t-rex coaster and all the duelers. It made me laugh. -

If you don't count those Chris Sawyer track packs, then:
First file was a design named "Copperhead" off some small site that linked to Danimation.
First park was probably "Cantebury Falls" by Schuessler. I just remember it was a two mapper, and a spotlight.Edited by yyo, 05 November 2005 - 12:57 PM.

Now that I've been thinking about it I downloaded a lot of parks from RCTUK before I got to Danimation. I got to Danimation about the time 4 Seasons was released. -

Fisrt downloaded park was for Rct2. I can't remember what it was called but I remember it had duellers in it called Dino Racers. It also had a Minetown or something in it, it had a big lake in the middle of the park. If anyone knows which park I'm on about, please tell me, I would love to be able to look at this park again . -

First "decent" park was Sunshine Gardens by x-sector. First ever was probably something at the old old RCTUK when it had the entirely blue design and was run by JBird.Edited by Nic, 06 December 2005 - 02:15 PM.

Hmm, my first downloaded park....
I think it's one of JKay's parks. It's from this site anyway. Maybe that Las Vegas park of JKay.
I like all the stuff here so much. I always have my mouth watering when I see another one of those gorgeous, detailed RCT2 parks. I really don't know how you guys pull it off, but it's incredible. -
