Um yeah the thing is you don't know if a rogue is there or not. You have no idea if a rogue will come after you. Duh. And second of all you obviously don't know that rogues have multiple stuns, cheap shot, kick to counter spells, kidney shot, gouge, blind... You won't be able to get one hit off.
Oh am i forgetting rogues have detect traps and disarm traps?Edited by Turtleman, 11 November 2005 - 05:01 PM.

Sigh, you must realise that a hunter will, at first chance, scatter shot you then it's over. Scatter shot, FD, trap, aimed, multi death. -

Whatever, the class dosen't really matter it's the player. Any class can beat any other class if the guy behind the character is good.
MC today yay. Maybe I'll finally get my full lawbringer set. -

I have a 51 Night Elf Hunter on Dalaran (American Server)... and I have to agree that we do dominate battlegrounds and most duels... especially after they corrected Multi-shot, it used to reset your auto-shot cooldown, but now it doesn't =). From level 43-49 only once did I not finish 1st overall in a bg... no excuses for that, I guess I just sucked that game.
But yeah, if anyone wants to join me on this server or get in touch just log on and look me up.. my name char name is Izu, short and simple. -

One on one, rogues are pretty easy to kill. You just have to keep your distance, they dont really pose a challenge if you can keep them at bay. Its easy for a mage, you can just freeze them in place, or blink, or anything really.
As a mage I generally struggle in PVP situations, I have yet to master the art of close quater combat/keeping the enemy at bay :-\ Although, trips to WSG are often quite succesful
I'm still learning though, my addiction gets worse by the day.....
