I dont know how new this is but just came across it on the WoW Europe site. I've recently lost almost all my social life to this game, it just gets worse with this bastard which I will surely buy without failure. :cry:

Apparantly you can now be the Blood Elves. I wonder what the other race will be. A whole new continent too, the game is becoming mind-bogglingly large. :confused:

I know people will rant on about how you have to pay subscription, but frankly I think its worth it. Hopefully more game cards will become available now.

PS I know certain people from NE play WoW, what server are you on? Im on Thunderhorn, still a relative n3wb tho. :disgust:

This game consumed 3 months of my life. It's truly amazing. I'm seriously considering renewing my subscription when this comes out, but I'm trying to hold off on gaming until Star Wars: Empire at War comes out in February.

and 4 million people with you. I downloaded the game so I could only play on private servers. I would have bought it if I liked it, but I would really have a problem with it if I had to pay every month for it. Also the beginning is probably the most boring part. I have problems with the fact they let you pay monthly for 'the ever expanding and server maintenance etc'... well 4 million times $50 + probably everyone a month subscription so add 4 million times +/- $30.....
that's $320 million. Making a game doesn't cost that much neither does maintaining it + they could get that money just out of the expansion. I know it's a company who tries to make money, but these figures look a bit insane to me...

Maybe I'm just not the type for RPGs, but WoW seems more quantity than quality... The areas where you start at are so boring... they feel so empty.

I like Starcraft and the normal Warcraft series though...

Please, the 15 dollars a month is a pithy about for how much fun the game is.

Rogues are the shit, the farthest I've gotten a character is 33 and it's an undead rogue. Anyways, here's something fun to do with a friend if you play Horde:

Go to Westfall, and wait on the path going from Sentinel Hill to Moonbrook. Make sure you are UNFLAGGED. Wait for a low leveler to come by doing the Defias Messenger quest and one shot the messenger, causing the low level person to fail the quest and proceed to get extremely pissed. When I did it, she came back with a lvl 15 friend and I unstealthed, killed the messenger again, and my flag went up when I attacked the messenger, so when she was trying to protect herself her flag went up. I then ganked the shit out of her and her 15 friend ran away. My friend and I continued to kill the messenger about 15 times, and it turned into an 8 man escort, 5 of which were level 60 and they still couldn't do shit about me. I would kill him, my flag would go up, and they'd kill me. So I would die, wait for my flag to drop while my friend killed the messenger the next time, and then ressurect, kill the messenger while my friend's flag dropped. It was incredible entertainment, and all the 60's were screaming shit in their alliance gibberish and making rude gestures so finally I walked right next to them all the way to the Deadmines entrance and then /clap'd them while laughing hysterically.


Try it, you won't be dissappointed.

See you need to play rogues on pvp servers. That's more fun. Then you can stealth when you want and just rape people in contested areas.

uhm Doom 3 was about 20-30 million to develop (which is a lot for a game) and that was a lot of work. That still not much compared to the income that WoW has which is atleast 200 million. Also a game like Guild Wars doesn't require a monthly fee. Sure it's not as big as WoW concerning amount of player and it probably doesn't grow constantly, but still it looks out of perspective...
I'm really not gonna buy a game that I can't try out properly and most certainly am not prepared to pay monthly for it. It'either the game very cheaply and a periodical fee or just the game more expensive and no fee.

Yeah, just cause you suck ass against rogues. Rogues are the most easy and fun classes without a doubt, and probably the cheapest, which makes them fun. I love ganking people, stunlocks, crits over 1500, its awesome. So if playing a rogue makes me a noob then okay, I'll still rape your ass. If you haven't already, watch World of Roguecraft. It's sick.

Rogues are fun, to kill. If I were a rogue I'd be a troll, not an undead though, silly. Undead are so boring--being original > WotF.

You don't know what you are doing. Hunters destroy rogues. GG killing three people with three multishot crits of 2500, and aimed shot crits of 3000.

Come to think of it, the only thing I was really good at killing with a rogue were cloth wearers and occasionally other rogues and a lower level hunter. Warriors and paladins are out of the questions, and good hunters are right behind them.

Im a (have your lol's at the ready) level 17 gnome mage. I find it a really satisfying playing style though. I used to be a Night-Elf Hunter but the game became really slow, where as with a mage I can be done with most monsters in a few seconds (unless they are elite or more than say two levels higher). But still, people tend to group with me a lot more now. The other awesome thing is you start in the Eastern Kingdoms so you can talk to alot more people than in Kalimdor (SP?). Im thinking of going on a quest-vacation to Kalimdor though to earn my badges.

Like I said im still a newb, I dont get to play the game as often as I would like (24/7 - I wish!). Im trying to get my mates to buy it now.

Not unless your a rogue that's npt a complete retard. Rogues can kill just about anyone in a few seconds except paladins and warriors. Warriors are usually the only class they have trouble against. What good is shooting me when you can't fucking even see me and I come to you and cheap shot your ass? Rogues always have the first hand, so you will always be unprepared against a rogue. Good luck trapping me when I am stealthed. Oh an undead are the coolest plus they get will of the forsaken which is just like the insignia of the horde but with a smaller cooldown.

Wow. Any hunter worth his wieght in cold will have traps down when they are PVPing, and traps work when people are stealthed. Secondly, cheap shot only lasts for two seconds, after that, your dead.
