Deron Williams for TJ Ford, I think, was a good deal. You would have been even more thankful if I kept Williams and let you snatch up Ford. -

I'm not sure he was ever drafted... was he?
Anyway, I picked him up in my other two leagues.
EDIT: Nvm. Ed posted in between the time I read that and replied. -

Clippers are lone in first place on the West! They face off against the T-Wolves tonight, which should be a good one since it's Casells's old team. I think they have a pretty good chance of going 3-0 tonight. Or at least split this back to back series between them and go 3-1, which aint bad at all. With the rest of the week ahead going against Washington, then Atlanta (who they just beat), things could be pretty good for the Clips. And looking ahead at the month, I'd say there's a good chance they can be 10 games over .500 come December. That's all I say for now... lol.
Oh and this is Brent. Surprise! Another sn... I vow to keep this one for awhile. -

Clips should do well until Cassell implodes and destroys the team chemistry. You're luck they're facing the Wolves one day after they played an exhausting game against a Seattle team that likes to run and move the ball. -

Awful loss for the Celtics last night. I mean, damn. Hamilton is a lucky fucker.
Luckily I didn't see the highlights until this morning. If I was watching that live I probably would have had an aneurysm. -

Wow, Spurs got demolished. Dallas once again is this year's True Dark Horse for the Finals. Very impressive, although I don't expect the rest of the season series between those two to be so lopsided. -

Wow. What a game... I mean... yeah. What a great ending, totally thought that was going to go in. Casell kinda fell apart the second half. But, ya. The rematch should be just as amazing. When Livingston and Maggette come back this team will finally be noticed as a serious contender. The kissing thing between Cassell and KG was pretty funny too if anyone saw that.
Hey Corky, wanna make a bet for LA bragging rights on who has the better record come end of the season?
Clippers are 3-0!Edited by The Beta Factor, 06 November 2005 - 12:20 AM.

Yeah, enjoy it while it lasts. Of course it helps that they had their schedule served to them on a silver platter. Maybe we should wait until they face some actual competition before annointing them contenders. Well, better them than those other guys anyway. -

I wouldn't get too thrilled by the Clips beating a tired 8th seed playoff team at home by 1 point. Yeah, a win is a win, but be realistic. -

McGrady out + our schedule = a painful November. I wouldbt be socked to end up 4-12.
Good news, Yao is averaging 22 ppg, 11 rpg, 4 bpg so far. -

Great. Now all I need is Dwayne Wade and Elton Brand to go down and all my 1st/2nd round picks in my fantasy leagues will be marvelous. -

I know the Pacific was gonna be weird, but even accounting for that, looking at the standings just looks funky:
L.A. Clippers 3 - 0
L.A. Lakers 2 - 1
Golden State 2 - 1
Phoenix 2 - 2
Sacramento 1 - 2
Lakers won, which was cool. They clicked very well tonight, and I hope they can continue that. Kings beat the Suns, which was a total WTF?! for me.
Knicks still haven't won. I've predicted them stinking it up, although knowing my luck, they'll prolly turn it around midseason and become this year's Chicago Bulls. Hopefully not though, cuz it's fun to rag on NY.
Also, when you see the word "Clippers" next to the phrase "Best Team in the West," your next move should probably be to check weather conditions down in hell. -

5-1 now, and what a great win over Washington last night becoming the first team to score over 100.
Clips won the season series tonight as well v the Hawks, which isn't hard (Except maybe the Lakers looking at their past with them).
Onto Philly next... should be close, but Clips should win. -

This is so trippy seeing hte Clips with the best record in the West and not tied with anyone, not to mention the second best record in the NBA. It's like my world's been turned upside down.
This won't last though. They should beat Philly, but I wouldn't be surprised if they lost. -

The Clippers have benefitted greatly by their cake schedule so far. Wait until the play a legitimate playoff team then see where they are. Minnesota is in the same situation. They're 3-2 but they haven't played anybody good yet. -

Dude, that game winning three that Mo Williams made for the Bucks was awesome. Such a beautiful sound when the net went SWISH.
