It's impossible for one man to singlehandedly win a game, but Dwayne Wade came as close as you humanly can last night. The ridiculous 4th quarter on the bad knee, leading the comeback, then getting a HUGE rebound off Dirk's missed FT and then the game-winning deflection.

Seriously, the guy is nuts. Miami is alive pretty much because of Wade and Wade alone.

How it should have gone:

Howard: [calls time-out @ 1.9 sec in OT]
Avery: "He has touretts... with his... hands..."
Dallas fans: "Damn!"


I still don't see the foul against Dirk for Wade's last two FT. And, I don't know if it's me, but something with Howard's incident just seemed a little fishy to me. Oh well. That's two games where Miami has won only by a basket in home court. I'm sure with Stackhouse we can turn the Heat off.

Too bad I can only see the highlights on nba.com (at least I saw 'Dirk's foul' on German TV)

I really don't get what was going on there in the last seconds. Maybe someone of you can help me.

1. Why was it no foul on Dirk's last shot in overtime?
2. Why was it no backcourt violation from Wade 9 seconds before the end of OT?
3. Where is Dirk's foul?
4. How can a player call a timeout?

Best fuckin Heat game I have even been to.

Getting a ticket was really hard tho. I think I was close to getting scamed by some guy who said we had to walk away from the arena to make the deal, so then we go past 1 block, then 2, then 3 we are right by a homeless sheltter in overtown, well I was not willing to walk any father at that point and said to show me the tickets alreddy, im 99% sure they were fake and I got away with my money. I guess they can use print outs as tickets coz I saw one, but assumed it was fake and passed up what sound like an ok deal, but then another guy had that same type so I chanced it and bought the ticket. It got me in

The game was truely amazing. It was also the loudest place I have even been to and I was up in the nosebleed section literly up on the back wall! But it was cool coz I was able to follow the line on the shots and could react a split second sooner

That last play in OT looked like a foul from my perch, but mostly coz of Wade's acting skills and maybe coz of all his effort getting there.

But, wow, that was far and away the best basketball game ever played in Miami and I can't belive I was able to be there, tho I feel a little bad my Dad did not get to go, he went with me, but did not seem up to going after waiting outside in the heat for a few hours, he did seem pretty happy to see that I got in tho, and I did get him a few nice Father's day presents anyways

The Heat just need one more win now, I think that will be in game 7 just coz it would confirm how amazing I am at picking games

Never, ever buy a printout ticket (i.e. TicketFast, from Ticketmaster) from a scalper. That's just asking to get screwed.

I did not want to, I told him I thought it was fake, but he give me his card, even then I still was unsure so I ran to the gate and it work and I was in, so he was telling the truth, and if not I had time to track him down and take my money back.

Ask the guy to stand at the gate while it gets scanned. If he's unwilling to, then the hell with him.

2. You are allowed to throw the ball in the backcourt when in-bounding.
3. Dirk "fouled" Wade, the officials said.
4. Go to the ref and symbol the "T" for timeout.

I dont know if you were being sarcastic or if you just dont follow basketball usually, but I answered em best I could.

And my views, Dirk didn't foul Wade at all. There was no contact for him to have to change his shot. It was good acting though. And I loved how the ref released his statement saying that Josh Howard turned to him and asked him not once, but twice for the timeout when if you clearly watched the video, Josh Howard didnt even look at the official at all.

Kinda confusing at first but theres a lot to say and see. Haha but the best part of the whole thing was when Avery Johnson told that reporter to not stutter. It was hilarious. He made him look stupid.

Dallas wins in 7 though.

That game was very good. Miami by one point. One of my all time favorite games in the play-off's for sure. I was upset though when Dirk just was pissed of kicking stuff, that was uncalled for. Well I can see Miami cleaning up the championship with a win in game 6 for sure.

Every time I hear Avery Johnson speak I feel like he's mentally unfit to be a professional sports coach.

After mostly missing the first four games and being for the Mavs in the series (perhaps because I was so tired of seeing them lose to the Spurs/Kings/Suns etc over the years), over the course of Game 5 my opinion switched 180 degrees. Wade looks like another Isiah Thomas. Gary Payton sure as hell deserves a ring. Pat Riley deserves another one after 18 years. The Mavs can wait.

As to 1.
I don't follow the nba very closely as I can't see it on TV. Just checking nba.com and espn.com daily. German news showed a shoot by Dirk in OT and I saw a foul on that one. (Not sure if it was the last shoot in OT. Mostly German TV wants to make it look like Dirk had the last shoot even it it wasn't the last one.)

As to 2.
I'm sure you are not allowed in Germany. Only when you play the pass from midcourt (one foot on the one side of the midcourt-line and one on the other side) you are allowed to throw it back. I remember us getting a backcourt violation call because of the same play, that's why I asked.)

As the 3.
Yeah the refs said foul but I didn't even see a contact. I bet they just called because Wade was throwing the ball away as if he was fouled.

As to 4.
Players can't call a timeout here. Trainer has to go to the refs and ask for a timeout. That's why I always suggest to take a timeout and then the trainer calls it in most cases.


Well anyhow. The refs didn't look good in that game and I'm looking forward to the next $125,000 Mr. Cuban has to pay
