Late but YEAH!
Clips now get at least a week off before they face the next opponent, who I hope will be the Lakers.
See ya Tuesday Corky -

If you think about it, if it wasn't for Tim Thomas, the Suns would have gotten swept. -

If it wasn't for Kobe Bryant, the Lakers would be getting the #3 draft spot in the lottery.
What's your point?
Anyway, I love Bill Simmons. I really do.
http://sports.espn.g...e=ESPNHeadlinesReggie Evans. The definition of a terrible contract run in the playoffs: Not only did Evans fail to emerge from a three-man rotation that includes Eduardo Najera and Francisco Elson, he guaranteed himself a lifetime of "NUT GRABBER!" shouts and insults after that whole Chris Kaman grabbing-the-crotch-from-behind debacle, which the league apparently decided NOT to suspend him for because it was so over-the-top weird that they just wanted it to go away as fast as possible. Well, it's not going away. At the Clippers game on Monday night, at least five different people in my section held up bags of nuts and screamed at him any time he was within 20 feet. And that's his career for the next 10 years. He's the Nut Grabber. Welcome to hell, Reggie Evans. Welcome to hell.

Ouch.
Well, that two and a half hour slow motion trainwreck is finally over. Congrats to the Suns for totally obliterating the Lakers in the most anticlimactic game 7 in history. I had a feeling either the Lakers would squeak by or get destroyed though.
I really thought we had this series going into game 6. But once we lost that one, I had that sick feeling I tried to ignore.
Our inexperience hurt us big. Those silly mistakes. But next year, we'll be better, especially if the core fo Kwame/Kobe/Lamar continue their strong play from the end of this season.
At least my predictions have been right so far... I hope the Suns kill the Clips tho (should be a great series, unfortunately... unfortunately because that means the Clips will complete).
RMM, I was ready to gloat a few days ago. Now you can gloat. And a shame Clips/Lakers won't happen. Stupid jinx. -

Yeah that sucks... I know all of my co-workers are pissed, lol. I'm scared now... we lost home-court, and yeah... it's the Suns. And, while they did beat them the last week of the season... it was the last week of the season. Meaning, their starters were benched. I guess same for both though... regardless, the series should be a good one. Hopefully PHX is tired... hopefully. -

Clippers 123
Suns 130
ROFLMAO
WHAT THE FUCK?! Who scores 130 points in one non-overtime game? Or better yet... who GIVES UP 130 points in one non-overtime game?
Man, this is the shootout I joked about seeing in last year's Mavs/Suns series.
I still can't get over the fact the Suns scored 130 points, which means they hit 74 in the second half. That also means Clips hit 62 points in the second half--which normally would win against anyone but Phoenix. -

Haha. I'm tellin you Cork, they aint no joke. And with 4 in a row I don't see how they can lose a series to the Los Angelos Brands. Haha he had 40 and everyone else was down. I love it.
EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot they still had 123 points. Its insane. But if its a shootout the Suns will out shoot anyone. After they beat the Clips I hope they play Dallas instead of SA, even with Ginobili playing like bad.Edited by RMM, 10 May 2006 - 04:50 PM.

Yeah, so WTF is with the spurs??? We have 63 wins and are still playing like ass. Somehow we managed to beat the Kings, and now we lose at home to the Mavs, who we beat in the season series?? What the hell is with everybody being hurt?
Why!!!!
Btw- I am praying that the Pistons find a way to lose to the Cavs. Four times.
Go Spurs... -

...maybe because the Mavs won 60 games and the regular season doesn't mean shit in the playoffs...thank you for home court advantage...
...GO MAVS... -

Rooting for... well, the teams I predicted in my predictions.
Altho the Mavs look like they're the best team in the playoffs right now. They barely lost to the Spurs and have pretty much controlled the other two games.
That's what happens when the other team's banged up though. -

There goes my first incorrect predict. Never thought Miami would have pulled it together, especially since the Nets were so hot going into the playoffs.
Looks like I'll be wrong on the Mavs/Spurs series too, unless the Mavs pull a Lakers.
Erm... GO PHOENIX! (but only against the Clips) -

Whoa, Dallas pulled it out. Iris and Magnus (and Old Red?) will be pleased.
And WOOO Phoenix ran away from the Clippers. -

Alright, I picked the final four exactly right and nailed the Mav's 100% so far, I should be really be a handycaper
