Hopefully Dallas catches the 1 spot, doubt it though. I know the Lakers would rather face Dallas than San Antonio. Lakers have it easier than the Kings so lets see where it lands them in the playoff tree. Good basketball played earlier by the Lakers though. -

The only question now is if the Lakers will hang onto the 7th spot. Clips lose tonight to fall to the 6th spot. Memphis vs Dallas will be more competitive than Clips/Dallas would have been, I think. Hope the Clips lose to Denver though. -

BRING ON TEH PLAYOFFS!
At least we beat Dallas tonight... and Maggette had a double double, so that's good news.
HOME COURT BITCHES.
JKay, shall we wager? lol -

Hmmmm... SAS and DET. Spurs will beat em though. We all know we wanna see the Suns and the Mavericks in the West Finals. I'd like to see the Suns and the Heat in the NBA Finals. That'd be great.

Lakers played the way I'd want them to play, but big 1st and 4th quarters by the Suns hurt LA. I liked the 2nd and 3rd quarters, and if we can hold Phoenix to those productions, we can actually win.
The hard part is keeping that defense up. -

Really thought the Lakers were gonna pull through at the end... oh well.
Oh well. Yes, I said it. I want the Lakers to win the series and anyone who knows who they'd be against in the second round knows why.
In other news... whew, thank God they didn't let that one slide last night. 1-0 Game 2 tomorrow... can't wait. Really do think they can win in 5. -

Clips rolled last night. Grrr.
Kings blew it tonight. Up by three and they make the biggest "up by three points at the end of the game" mistake you can possibly make... rather than defend against the three, they get pulled into Ginobili's drive to the basket, allowing Bret Barry to make a heart-stopping trey that dribbled out of the rim, bounced off the backboard, and swooshed back in. Ed might be pounding his head out right now.
Now, it was an excellent play by San Antonio, but if you're the Kings, you gotta be kicking yourself for LEAVING THE THREE POINT GUY OPEN. You're up by too... why would you NOT concede the basket? They need a three to TIE anyway.
Still, great call by Coach Pop.
Anyway, hope the Lakers make some slight adjustments and finally beat the Suns when Nash is playing. -

If the Kings foul Ginobili on that play, game over. But whatever. They lost, what can you do?
PS: Cork, Tatsu? Eh? -

I'm not completely sure what you mean by that. Are you referring to its media day that I'm attending because I'm a Theme Park Review member, or just you want to visit the Mountain sometime?
(PM me... don't wanna take this convo off course).
LAKERS BEAT SUNS!! YAY!! HOPE THEY CAN KEEP IT UP!

Wow, you're telling me when Kobe's not selfish, the Lakers can beat the Suns?!
EDIT:
ROFLMAO. I just watched highlights of the game tonight (was out for dinner) and saw Kwame Brown totally pwn Boris Diaw. That might be the funniest NBA moment I've seen this year. I think Kwame is finally off the hook in my book now (which feels weird.. no Kwame OR Lamar to pick on). Shit, remember when he was called a pansy earlier this year? He threw Diaw down AND STEPPED OVER HIM AND TAUNTED HIM!
That's priceless. Seriously, it is. -

Allegedly.
The guy's like the most passive player in the league. I find it hard to believe he could actually assault a woman.
But we'll see what happens. If he's guilty, then geez, what a douche.
I'm glad that's the only good thing you can say right now... you might have a little bit of reason to celebrate in about half an hour though. =/
