Ask the Experts / stupid question but PLEASE answer

how can you tell if the parks on here are rct2 or other. because when i go to them i cant find them anywhere. thanks for you help.

If it looks like it has architecture not made out of raised land, then it's Rct2. If it does, then it's Rct. And if you try to tell me that you can't tell which is Rct3 out of them, then at you.

The architecture, the green trim next to the icons instead of gray, rides that weren't in RCT 1, flags instead of stoplights in rct2, the rct2 logo on the icon, custom scenery

RCT1 files are tagged with .SV4
RCT2 files are tagged with .SV6

RCT1 files are tagged with .SV4
RCT2 files are tagged with .SV6

I think he means "How to do know which is which before you download?"

The answer is, simply, "You can't". Not definitely, anyway. If there are screens you can pick up on some things, provided you're familiar with both games, but even then, I've made mistakes myself.

I always thought that was a problem with the site, but not a huge one, because there simply aren't many parks I want to download.

Also the time when it was made might help, along with the creator, because the LL parks that have been released recently are limited to only a small group of parkmakers.

Just ask in this topic and i am sure people will tell you if its LL or RCT2.

If you're unsure the best is just to ask. After seeing a bunch of both RCT2 and RCT1 you start to recognize the difference.
