Yeah, I guess your idea for "pods" makes sense, which was what I really had no idea about, but based on the definition of "doozies" (assuming Cork's jargon has some kind of meaning), a doozy is the following:
"Something extraordinary or bizarre" - from ze Dictionary.com (suck that, OED!)

Though, usually I do immediately think of a "doozy" as being something sucky or which makes me disoriented, as in, "Crap! That test was a doozy!" or "Filling out the FAFSA is a doozy!" But usually that refers to it more as being complicated, which generally infers that it's a pain in the ass. Which is why I had to look it up. But I guess properly it should be a good thing.

So, that would mean two kickass parks, and the rest are also quite awesome, as opposed to overall having a really sucky turnout, as you propose. Unless if "pods" means the opposite of your idea, in which case we'll probably be seeing these two pretty soon... Assuming half the site isn't actually judging the thing.
