Sorry guys, CF is officially out. I've tried my best to get something in, and I've worked on it as much as I can when I can, but I just can't get it in esp. since the due date is right in the middle of my exam period. I just need to focus on other things.

If it helps at all, I will finish what I planned to do later and release it. But there's just no way it could happen by the deadline. Sorry guys.

i'd be pretty damn fed up myself if this many people were dropping out of my site's biggest competition.

I know it's wierd but the idea is to make someone feel smaller in your own eyes than the person feels there are in their own. Which in turn causes them to feel a great desire to "overcome" and prove you wrong.

I think. Or at least that's how I'm taking it, well that and Iris is now turned into a realist, errr, cynic.

That's good for you. I honestly don't care who gets offended by it. He was given a chance and now he's backing out, that doesn't speak very highly of him in my book so I have no qualms with stating I think he would have finished last.

some days ago i've been discussion about NE and during that argumentation i threw in that NE is destroying itself by the actions taking place. This thread somehow proves what i have said, which is really sad to see.
there is still so much potential for rct. One should really go ahead and make something of that . . .

*CoasterForce*, I know you were just trying to ease the blow by being honest up front about not being able to submit an entry, but I think your timing was pretty bad. If I was in your shoes, I would of waited till the actual deadline to announce my withdrawal, not 6 days before the actual due date, which kinda reflects that you quit or gave up instead of simply running out of time. However, I think iris's response, although not positive, was warranted. I sorta understand why he said that, especially when you consider how important this contest is to the survival of this site. Its kinda like "you let me down, so now I'll let you down". I personally was looking forward to what you could do CF, so I'm also sorta disappointed that you're now a no show. Oh Well. I only hope you continue to play rct2 and show us more of your works

I am highly anticipating it just I did last year, except now I'm actually a participant with a small chance of winning something. Even if there aren't as many entries last year, I still think it'll be NE's best showing in quite awhile.

Let's hope it will be a great show. I think that is what we are looking forward to see. This contest is defenatly a chance to get rct back to what it has been some time ago. A great game and lots of fun.

But we also have to understand if some people can't enter, because of private reasons, school, work ... . The only thing I was trying to point out is that we shouldn't get down because it might be a small contest and that it isn't helpful to have long dicussions about whether someone is going to enter or not. Everybody has his reasons if he doesn't enter and we have to understand that.
Instead we should all work on making NE a better place again. Everybody to it's own possibilities.
