RCT Discussion / "Wannabe H2H"

I don't know how well this could work, or if it could at all.

I suspect that there are a decent number of people around the site who didn't make it into the Pro Tour and for whom the next few months are rather devoid of site-interactive RCT activities (site-interactive e.g. H2H, Pro Tour, QFTB-X). Perhaps they had a great idea for a Pro Tour park but missed getting in and that minipark idea is still lurking in the back of their mind. Or maybe they did get into the Pro Tour and can finish stuff fast enough to juggle something else, or don't have the desire to enter.

So I had the idea of holding like a wannabe H2H, a mini-H2H if you will, on a much smaller scale than the normal season granted, but just to pass the time during the coming months while the PT participants are cranking out their entries. To keep the peasants warm during the autumn months. This is just because I know that an event like the Pro Tour automatically negates participation in any other contests for most of those participating, but conversely those not participating can get bored. Basically we'd scrap the whole divisions thing and just have four teams, of four or five people each, instead of six teams of 10. The season would just be three to five games, after which there could be a simple NCAA-style playoff round (or alternatively just a single final game). Perhaps there would be one and a half or two weeks between games instead of one (because the end-of-season games would be nearer at any given point).

So I thought I'd just throw this out there and see if anyone's interested, or if I've finally gone off my head. Perhaps this would be a detriment to people finishing solo stuff and thus wouldn't be a good idea. But just reply here if you would be interested, although by no means am I declaring this an official NE contest or anything.

Me and Panic did go over that but did not end up fixing a size or time limit. My guess would be 50x50 max with 7-10 days max to get it in

I think we need at leased 16 players, we could work in a few more tho. IMO it should not be too big...
