Rick Clausen is a savior, indeed! When Riggs lit up the scoreboard with a TD in overtime every dorm room on the Knoxville campus emptied and there was a riot in Presidential Courtyard. Then it moved with a mile long run to Neyland Stadium where about 2000 people danced in the parking lot while four cop cars guarded the door to the stadium. It was crazy, people were dancing around cars with subs in the back, and a group even brought a mattress down from a dorm room and lit it on fire before the fire fighters came and broke it up. I think three ended up getting arrested, but no injuries from what I've heard. All I know is that it was a crazy run to Neyland, and a few drunk guys even streaked all the way down there. Atmosphere was amazing though, and nothing beats 2000 college kids screaming "I said it's great, to be, a Tennesse Vol" at the top of their lungs. -

Oh yeah, we are. AND WE HEADED FOR THAT NUMBER ONE SPOOOOOOOOOOOT!
I can't wait until the Georgia game, if we win the craziness will be ten times as bad because it's at home.
Also the South Carolina game will be ridiculous with Spurrier coming to town. Everyone has shirts that say "Spurrier Sucks" on them with a Gamecock logo below it, therefore reading "Spurrier Sucks Cocks". Oh the cleverness of UT Students.
Oh, and ASU needs to fuck up USC this week.
Let us move back into the top 5 real quick now that we got our feet back underneath us.
We're coming, Corky! -

Oh man, give credit to this tough ASU team. We looked dead in the first half, but the second half rally brings us through 38-28.
For the first time in like forever, we DON'T cover the spread though.
Coulda been worse... we could be Florida playing a team ranked in the teens and get blown out like 31-3. -

FUCK USC! Two weeks in a row they come back to win and not just by a little bit!
Gah, we could have jumped up quite a bit if USC had been upset along with Florida and LSU for next week's polls. Virginia Tech and Texas are soooo good, and USC's time to fall is seemingly right around the corner. I can feel it. -

i went to the canes game saturday night vs the USF bulls..
it was fun...until it started pouring down rain, and we didnt have ponchos... but it was still awesome.
we were sitting in the general admission, in the endzone, like, on the front row, just above the ppl in wheelchairs. sebastian kept on coming up to where me and my dad and brother, his friends and my sister were sitting, and was bothering us. my bro tried taking his little hat off, but it wouldnt come off, so he got in trouble. it was funny. the security guy had no teeth...and no hair...
next time, we're bringing a wheelchair from my dads office ( cuz hes a doctor) so we can sit closer to the field and mess with the players... -

So true.
Nah, he'd be too busy with architecture to transfer. -

Fatha's doing architecture too? Damn, talk about Corkscrewed #2!
Next thing you know he'll be leaving parks unfinished and people will resurrect his threads in the Ad. District as a joke...
...Oh wait... -

I'd be releasing a solo by the end of this year if it wasn't for PT2. No it wouldn't be WDE.
Back to the topic at hand... if we don't crush Arizona this Saturday (it's also USC's 125th school anniversary celebration, the Happiest Celebration in the Ghetto), I'll be a little disappointed. -
Corkscrewed Offline
Oh man, OU's getting completely worked. Getting killed by the big plays and their offense can't do jack.
If Texas blows this one, they might as well forfeit the season.
EDIT: USC Commentary
Okay, what the hell. Arizona sucks. And yet WE'VE ALLOWED THREE TOUCHDOWNS. We WERE SUPPOSED TO WIN BY AT LEAST 37.5 pts!!!
Yet it's 28-21. Geez, if we're going to overlook teams like that and play to our opponents' level, I'm not sure we can recover and up our game against the likes of Cal, Notre Dame, or UCLA.
*sigh* Blow it open already. Geez. -

Heh.
Didn't get a chance to see last week's action, but Michigan's gotta be fuming at Lloyd Carr right now. -

Seriously. Three losses is totally unacceptable over there.
Anyway, I'm gonna go on the record and say that today's game was probably our worst. Defense kept letting them hang around, and offense was still making mistakes. Only Lendale White seemed to be his usual consistent, dominating self.
It won't be a blow out in South Bend next week if we play like we did this week. -

I love it how USC fans feel like anything less than a two-touchdown victory is a loss.
Man, you guys are gonna be fucked when you lose one! -
Corkscrewed Offline
Yeah...
But I won't feel as bad if it's next year before we lose again.
Man, this UCLA/Cal game is really good! 41-40 with 47 sec left in the game, UCLA intercepted a pass. Looks like the Bruins are going to upset.
(barring a miracle)
Also, I wonder how Outlaw's doing, since Georgia beat Tennesee.
EDIT:
UCLA rushes for a touchdown to end the game. 47-40, Bruins win. Wow. Imagine if this holds up... it'll be a battle of unbeatens on the last game of the season for USC and UCLA, not to mention the battle for the Pac Ten Championship, not to mention possibly a battle for who goes to the National Championship game! -

What. The. Fuck.
Clausen played his ass off, even his interception was a great pass, the defender just jumped in at the last second. The fumble would have happened to even the best of quarterbacks, and he was really the only person on the field who played anywhere close to exceptionally well. Our special teams is more like special education, we either had a penalty, a TD allowed, or a punt downed within the two yard line (twice) on every fucking play the special teams was involved in. We had a left tackle who had two false starts IN A ROW, completely killing a drive by turning a third and short into a third and long. Our defense didn't do shit, except for two big turnovers that our offense couldn't capitalize on because our offensive coordinator's idea of "mixing up the playcalling" is calling screen passes and draw plays on third and fucking long. There's no words that can describe how pissed off the stadium was during the game. Oh yeah, and we lost Jason Allen. For the season. Nothing can keep this season from being a letdown now, we went from National Championship hopeful to completely out of the BCS bowl picture.
Fuck.
