You mean Fern Gulley? I can see the comparison. Both (the movie and the section in Kumba's park) were based on the idea of deforestation. Was the character in that movie a fairie though or like some kind of insect? I can't remember.

she was a fairie, and that was the movie I was thinking of. there are definatly some paralells between the parks and the movies.
