i did a special sort of capturing though. with direct capture, you get framejumps. very ugly. no matter how fast your computer is. so i had to think of a special mystique technique to capture every frame. took me months to figure it out. but yeah.

Wow posix, that was amazing. As the others said, pure class describes it perfectly. And Artist, great park you have there, especially those pirate ships . The quotes were a neat feature too.

I love how you got it to not show the rapids track, btw. that ride looks like it's the best one of the couple shown.

btw, great video. nicely done. I think it might have been better if part of the quotes were done before the park was shown, to build up the suspense, and have the list of guest appearances be the only text during the viewing of the park. I dunno, it's still amazing though.

mantis, you have a good point about the quotes. i messed with them forever to increase the readability. it's why i added the glow effect. didn't help too much. then i gave the quote layers a slight movement. made them as big as they could possibly be, rearranged, etc. it was very difficult to fit them in without overlapping the rides that are supposed to be seen. but this is something i definitely want to improve for #2.
what i've also learned is that the video is half intro/outro and half park. it should be more like, 1/4 intro/outro and 3/4 park. but that didn't work with the music again. i then chose the tv size version of the song, which helped. anyway...

penguinbob, the quotes alone would've been a bit boring in my opinion. i see your point but i had envisioned the video just like that ever since artist first showed me the park. and animated text alone is very very hard to keep exciting. i'm not that good as of now.
also, i wanted everything at once to hopefully increase the re-watch value. i kind of wanted people to miss a bit of the quotes or a bit of the park deliberately so that they'd want to watch again.

scarface. read the playback information, meh. why do people ignore this when they are confronted with playback issues? it just doesn't make sense to me. oh well...

The coasters pacing is superb, flowing beautifully.... The length of the video is about right, you don't want to give away too much.
