Is the Ponte Vecchio meant to be a recreation of the bridge in Florence?
  • Kumba%s's Photo
Damn, that is some nice realistic stuff, very nice work, but the custom scenery your working with is simpley not that good and does not fit RCT very well, but when I look past it you really got some very soild work there.

Id really like to see you do something non-Disney with "Normal" scenery (like PT or PT2 bench) coz you have a ton of skill.

Already talked about it. He's modeling it on the disney version of it and that one deviates a lot from the real one.

Really? I'm very picky about the scenery I use fitting in with the games pre-existing scenery (WW not withstanding), so I must say this is a little bit of a suprise. ASIDE from the paths, what stands out?

To be honest now that I have taken a better look its pretty much just the trees. Im not sure really, it just does not seem "smooth" to me, but Disney can, and so can styles in RCT. I think if you can in anyway add more detail it mite help to smooth things up, its hard to explain...

The tree is placed wrongly, isn't it? In the second to last screenshots..

Wow. impressive work there. I love all of it with a passion, and i think the scenery all fits in its own little way.

Thanks for the great feedback. I'm slammed with exams this week and work next week so very little if anything will get done. When I do restart work on the park, the likely focus will be Aegean Inlet and the Journey to Atlantis (temp name) water coaster.

the jungle river cruise is where it's at. when I was scrolling through the first couple pages I thought that screen looked like a photo from one of your disney sources. Everything is looking amazing as usual...can't wait for the 2015 release ;)

Happy New Year, everyone. I spent my second consecutive New Year's Eve at the Magic Kingdom this year and had a blast. We got to stand in the ABC press box in the Plaza Rose Garden so no crowds! But you're not here to hear about that, you're here for the January update. This will be the last update for the American Waterfront. From here on it is Port Discovery, Lost River Delta, Arabian Coast, Mermaid Lagoon, Mysterious Island, and Aegean Inlet. I've still got a long ways to go.

Anyway, this update features two screens: one of the now completed Cape Cod section of American Waterfront and an overview of the park as of 01-11-06.

Cape Cod is the smaller, less busy section of the American Waterfront and has no rides or attractions, other than the occasional DisneySea Transit Steamer passing by it's shores. Pictured above is the Hurricane Point Lighthouse and Aunt Peg's Village Store. In front of Hurricane Point Lighthouse is a monument in commemoration of all the brave men and women who have died at sea (Not pictured. Use your imagination). I was going to show another shot of Cape Cod but the picture wouldn't upload for some reason.

The above overview taken yesterday shows how much or how little progress has been made. As it stands, I'm looking at this park being finished by the end of the summer/early fall. My only big problem is Mount Prometheus. I'm absolutely terrified of not getting it just right. That's why it's going to be last.

    Sea ya'll next month. ;)

Nice Iceman. You are a RCT2 legends as they say. The Cape Cod Area is great and the themeing is very well detailed and realistic. Could you give me a few pointers for my park?

    Looks great Scooter.

Can't wait til you get a strong enough computer to wreak havoc with RCT3.

Simply amazing. I know nothing of Disney, so I have no idea what anything is/supposed to be. But the work is incredible.

I think you are one of the single best architects ever to pick up the game. Incredible.
