Abdullah makes a prophecy!
judging by how you people tear at every little thing on a movie. i am imagining people saying....
"This sucked"
"this was terrible"
"gosh, George fell short"
"gosh, George fell short of MY anticipation"
"that was retarded"
"that was ok, could of been better"
"A downer"
and not one of you people are gonna say, it was good, or great.
I prophecize this, now we wait and see the my prophecy come true. -

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go "omgwtf that was amazing everyone go see it now gogo." -

unless someone here has actually seen the movie I'd say it would be a wiser idea to withhold your judgement until you actually see the damn thing. -

Gosh that sounds rather too sensible for these folk.unless someone here has actually seen the movie I'd say it would be a wiser idea to withhold your judgement until you actually see the damn thing.

Yeah, I think this is gonna be the "make-or-break" episode.... and I reckon it's gonna break more than make... sadly...Lucas has A LOT of ground to cover in this one... but its probably going to be dissapointing, yet still amusing to watch.

Actually, after looking at the reviews on rottentomatoes.com, I have much higher hopes for it. At 83% it currently has a higher rating than Return of the Jedi, and much higher than Episodes I and II. Not doing so bad so far. The main problem I heard was that the script and acting still aren't great.
So maybe the crowd here won't be as negative as you'd expect come opening day. -

Does anyone really expect any great acting from Episode III? I mean, the acting in absolutely every Star Wars (original trilogy very much included) was not what anyone should call good acting. What made Star Wars the cultural phenomenon it is now is mostly due to the wow-factor from special effects and the degree of escapism the films bring to the audiences. Just go see it to be entertained...that's all the movie was meant for in the first place.

I'm waiting a week before I see it so that I am not packed in the theater with a bunch of nerds. -

i have very mixed feelings about the new trilogy, they seems to be very different then the original 3
the first one was good, the second was bit boring and no humour, and the third one looks promising with lots of battles -

Me and 2 buddies are going on Thursday at 730 EST, ill be back at 10 to review.
I asked my girlfriend to come and she simply responded: "If I could go without seeing another Star Wars Movie for the rest of my life, I'd be happy." So there was her answer... I guess its a masculine thing.
Oh yeah and we're Hella debating dressing up, because these 2 friends are just the kind of kids that would do that, and I might have to tag alone with it. -

I'm totally siked, I read a "script", or something close to it, and there will be some surprises.
Obviously, theres the awesome fight scenes...
And the number of parallels/refences/tributes in EP III to the original Trilogy will make this a classic. Lucas has done a good job at tieing up all the lose ends, while leaving just enough room for the franchise to make a number of novels to take place between eps III amd IV -

Considering there are 19 years between the two, you're bound to have lotsa novels anyway. But yeah, all reports indicate that you'll never look at Ep IV - VI the same way again. Hell, even thinking about Obi Wan and Vader's duel at the end of A New Hope gives me goosebumps now, given the history of all this now. -

It had better be good. I think he left Way to much to make up from episode two. Maybe there will be an Episode 3 and a half. -

This looks interesting, but I'll probably see it in like, two years because I never felt like actually watching it until then. Like with the last one.
